Highly Recommend Green Valley Trekking!
We chose Green Valley for our Annapurna Base Camp trek after previously completing Everest Base Camp with them, and they delivered an exceptional experience yet again! It was a truly great trip, and we enjoyed every single moment of it. A huge thank you to our fantastic guide, Anil, and the entire team for being so helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the journey. Having a reliable team makes a world of difference. If you're looking for a trekking agency in Nepal, Green Valley is definitely the best choice!

Outstanding ABC Trek – Second Time with This Company and Better Than Ever!
This was my second time booking a trek with this company, and once again, they exceeded every expectation. Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) during the peak season is no joke—the trails are packed and accommodation is tight—but our experience was completely seamless from start to finish. A massive shoutout to our incredible guide, Anil. He was the absolute backbone of this trip. Even with multiple tour groups on the trail and immense pressure on resources, Anil’s local connections and expertise shone through. He consistently secured the best available tea houses and arranged fantastic meals at every stop without us having to worry about a thing. More importantly, Anil’s top priority was always our well-being. He was incredibly attentive, constantly checking in on everyone’s pace, hydration, and acclimatization. Thanks to his careful planning and encouraging attitude, every single member of our group felt safe, motivated, and ultimately made it to Base Camp and back down successfully. If you are planning a trek in Nepal, I cannot recommend this company and Anil enough. They treat you like family and handle the logistics flawlessly. I’ll definitely be back for a third trip!

Comfy and Cozy
I had an amazing and comfortable experience with We Nepal for 9 - day Annapurna Base camp trek. Their preparation and transfer vehicles are quick and convenient. The tour guide Yamu Dhungana was really patient, gentle and kind during the guide which gave me a relaxed and contented long trek.Besides, their Welcome and Farewell were really touching and I really had an unforgettable memory in Nepal. I would definitely recommend to my friends if they would like to do trekking in Nepal.

First class experience.
Fantastic experience with a great company. Everything was so well organised, pick ups/drop offs at airports all on time. We had illness in our team but plans were adjusted without any fuss. A special mention to Krishna, our guide who looked after us so well and always with a smile. Saila too who looked after us when we had to turn back. Can't recommend this company highly enough. Thank you so much.

ABC for a mixed ability, older team.
Everything was organised to perfection by the Green Valley staff including all taxis, jeeps, airport pickups. Krishna our guide was perfect, thinking of everything ahead of it's need. He took care of all 6 of us and also the sherpa team, going above and beyond on many occasions. Especially when some of our team became ill. Saila was also an excellent guide/sherpa when he had to return with me and husband from Dovan. All of this was done with a smile and the utmost courtesy, they were great fun to travel with.

Why this scores 88
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Base Camp Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $925 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Base Camp Trek take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp Trek?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Base Camp Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
