    Could have been better

While the experience was ok it wasn’t truthfully as advertised. The boat looks nothing like the picture and was very basic and rickety. The tour apparently included snorkeling but there was the most basic part of a beach available that had nothing to see and was only barely deep enough to snorkel in. There was no caves and stalactites. The refreshments for breakfast was a banana and a small muffin. For what we paid I would consider other options.

    Stunning scenery

Very short kayaking period 30 minutes Food was poor and cold, plenty of tea coffee soda Safety! As a seafarer and MCA approved STCW instructor it worried me that on boarding I was given a child life jacket, the one I was given had seen better days I saw all the life jackets had their crotch strap cut off, there was no safety brief given I am judging this on an international safety standard for commercial vessel The islands are beautiful and the views stunning But purely on a safety basis try another provider

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. Fab day out :)

What a great day out! Really well organised, water and coffees and teas on demand and the staff were wonderful and helpful and the lunch was nice too. Snorkelling at the end was abit hit and miss as the coral reef is small and by the swimmers, I saw s few fish, it’s still ok for snorkelling. Overall I’d recommend this to everyone who wants to see this lovely bit of Asia.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day, and found the trip well organized. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the snorkeling and understand your comments regarding the reef. Your recommendation means a lot to our team, and we are glad you enjoyed this lovely part of Asia. We look forward to welcoming you on another memorable adventure in the future. Best Regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team

    Bad experiences

Bad experiences - Very old ship, bad organization and guide. A way to this please take about 5 hours: 2 hours on the ship to each way and half hour from/to hotel. Hard climb and descent, and all this for5 minutes t be on the top to make photos... A beach not suitable for snoring.

Response from the operator: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide enjoyable and well-organized tours, and it is disappointing to hear that we fell short on this occasion. We understand that the travel time and the condition of the ship impacted your experience, and we truly regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Your comments about the organization and guide are also noted, and we will address these points to improve our services. Regarding the beach conditions, we are sorry that it did not meet your expectations for snorkeling. We will review our tour information to ensure that guests have accurate and clear expectations about the activities and conditions. We truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve and deliver better experiences to our future guests. If you would like to discuss your experience further, please feel free to contact us directly. Kind regards, Oh Hoo Travel

DONT USE THEM0THEY TOOK MY MONEY & I NEVER WENT

Booked this trip as we were meeting my daughter and her boyfriend from Australia in Thailand. It became apparent to me a few days before that the trip pick up time was over an hour earlier than it was advertised which meant we were unable to make. I spoke to someone at VIATOR who i booked through who assured me they would refund me as i had not heard from the company. 3 months later and countless emails and hours of my life wasted i STILL havent been refunded. my contact is ignored and so now i only want to warn others not to waste money like i have. This company has £135 of my money and refuses to give it back as do VIATOR. DONT USE EITHER

Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.

How much does Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui cost?

    +

Prices start at $1150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.

Is Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Angthong National Marine Park Tour By Big Boat From Koh Samui start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?

    +

On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Koh Samui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
