The boat itself was very simple, and the weather was bad because of the big waves that day, so the guests had to take the boat back to the boat in the heavy rain that made it hard to open their eyes. The snorkeling was not a special dive site, it was just a small beach divided into a small area, and the corals There were no fish, and there were a lot of jellyfish. I said I was bitten by jellyfish, but they were indifferent. The meal was also very casual. Anyway, I regretted it.

    Awesome trip!

The kayaking through the caves is awesome! Bring lots of sunscreen and stuff to cover up because it’s a long day in the sun and we got very sunburnt. Also remember to bring a towel. The only down side is that the boat goes quite slow so you will be spending a long time on the boat

Don’t waste your time and money

We spent most of the day in transport mode; be it in a van, large boat or longboat. Beware… the hiking is not fun and quite dangerous, up very steep staircases with narrow concrete steps. We snorkeled off a shallow beach for 30 minutes. Derelict masks were left in a bin to grab, however, fins were not provided. We didn’t spot any fish. Not one! We were the last two to embark in a kayak, so we managed to get 20 minutes of kayaking time. Do not waste your time and money on this tour.

    Super poor customer service

tried to ask a girl named Sarah some super basic questions like "Where does the boat travel to? Around what time is pickup in the morning? Is kayaking included in the tour?" I had to ask these questions because their website was down. Sarah couldn't answer any of these questions. And on top of everything, she was rude about it. Maybe these guys actually have good tours at all of the other locations, and maybe their other staff is professional and knowledgable and courteous...but my experience with Sarah was pretty shockingly awful.

Response from the operator: Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. We deeply apologize for the frustration you felt while seeking information from our team, especially from Sarah. Providing clear, courteous, and helpful customer service is a cornerstone of our business, and we regret that we did not meet these standards in your interaction. We are addressing this feedback directly with our staff to ensure that all team members are equipped to offer the high level of service our customers deserve. We appreciate your patience and are committed to making improvements to ensure a better experience for all. Warm regards, Oh-Hoo Team

    Organisation bidon

We are really disappointed with this day. An old boat was waiting for us at the port. It broke down halfway and took a very long time to get back to port and then we waited for another boat.... The day had to start around 10am... It was worth getting up at 6:30 am... Besides, even the taxi was late but still it doesn't matter The stop on the first island was nice although it took a lot of effort to get to the viewpoint. We just had time to go up and down that it was time to eat. Nice meal. After we went for some kayaking and we were able to see a beautiful lagoon after another ascent. The view was beautiful but the beach and the sea were disgusting, filled with garbage... It was the place to see the fish while diving Almost no fish and very dirty sea with garbage, we did not enjoy. Then we came back around 4pm... Nothing to do with the 8-9 hours of excursion planned... We didn't see any caves either... We expected to see the beauty of natural park, going around the islands... In addition we had good weather... What a waste... Way too expensive for what it was... Better to hire a fisherman for the day and go around the islands I still want to clarify that the sailors and the guide were very friendly but the excursion and the organization were not up to the task.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We regard every reviews from our customers and thank you for joining our tour program. We will also let the tour company know what the customers think.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.

How much does Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.

Is Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Angthong National Marine Park Trip + Kayaking By Big Boat From Koh Samui start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?

    +

On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Koh Samui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
