The tortoise cat
We went to Secrets Akumal in July 2024. When I wrote my review I did forget one thing. If you are an animal lover you will find one tortoise cat. He comes out around 6pm and he is adorable. He sits by the restaurant the Italian & French. He is very friendly. He does not bother you unless you talk to him or call him over. He is very tame. I started feeding him every night for 6 nights. I would save chicken beef and or fish and bring it to him around 7PM. The night before we were learning he came up to me and sat and meowed. If you go down bring a small bag of cat food and a small bag of treats. He will love you.

DO NOT USE PLANA TRANSFERS THEIFS !!!
After arriving at Barcelona airport I spent two hours with easy jet staff putting their hand on my face saying NO ENGLISH as me and my son asked where I could find my transfer coach , finally when we were about to pay for transport I received a phone call from a easy jet representative who realised we hadn’t arrived at our hotel and had a lady in the airport to assist us and put us on the correct coach , after two hours with no air conditioning and feeling incredibly unwell dizzy and sick , in need of food and a drink and some aircon we arrived at the hotel , I got off the coach and my son grabbed the bags from underneath the coach only then did I realise I had left my phone and bag on my seat - please note we were at the very back of the coach , a couple were next to the driver at the front. The hotel immediately contacted the company and easy jet , however they claimed purse was never found although they only made one more stop to a hotel 200 yards away and then back to the depot. Easy jet gave my sons phone a missed call - basically one ring then cut off and an email to say contact the police we can’t do anything to help !!!!! So warning to all PLANA are thief’s and easyJet can not do anything about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great pick up!
Our transfer was great! Miguel was so nice and got us to our hotel safely and had all the beverages we ordered. I would defiantly use them again!

Terrible Transfer Experience
The airport pick up by CanaDian Transfers was delayed by 45 minutes. The driver was at the wrong terminal and traffic was so bad they had to send a different driver, that did not have our ordered beverage. Our hotel to airport transfer was even worse. The van was mechanically unsound. No shocks, one headlight and the turbo did not work. This resulted in us driving at 70 km and avoiding all overpasses. We ended up having to pull over so the driver could try to fix it. Our one hour trip ended up being two hours.

Big Disappointment
I had Mistakenly booked this Transfer Company thinking it was another of a Very similiar name that I had used before..The Driver was an Hour late..blaming it on the weather when All others were there on Time..as well I had arranged a stop at the Supermercado and was told enroute that they would NOT accommodate this Stop..as they were late for the next pick up..altho stopping for Gas was permitted..I would NOT Recommend this Company..instead I suggest booking with the Original Canada Transfers..I will advise my Friends NOT to book this Company
