Nice experience, but food fell short.

A nice overall experience due to an intimate setting, along with exceptional service. The sweets and scones were good. The sandwiches, especially the chicken, were extremely bland. For the price, the food fell well short of my expectations. Although overall a nice experience, it's definitely not worth a return visit.

Fantastic Afternoon Tea

This was an absolutely perfect afternoon tea. I researched quite a bit before making a decision and I am so happy that I chose this one. There was so much food and it was all presented beautifully! I couldn’t have been more pleased. The hotel was also decorated impeccably and completely set the stage for an afternoon tea. I would not hesitate to recommend this event.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a perfect afternoon tea experience and that you were delighted with the generous selection of food and beautiful presentation. It’s also lovely to know that you enjoyed the hotel’s elegant décor and atmosphere, which truly helps create the perfect setting for afternoon tea. We greatly appreciate your recommendation and are so happy that you chose to join us. We hope to welcome you back for another delightful experience in the future! Kind regards, Evanevanstours team

Tasty and comfy

Excellent in many ways. Staff is so polite and our attendant offered great tea selections. Seated at a window table in the most comfy chairs. Started with Prosecco. Presentation was beautiful. The individual sandwiches were tasty with our favorite being the chicken with mayonnaise surrounded with toasted almonds. Then the desserts —-awesomeness, followed by the freshly baked scones topped with jam, or lemon custard. Yum-Yum.

Response from the operator: Hello Troy_H Thank you so much for this 5* review. We really appreciate you being a customer and helping to share the word about us. We hope to see you again on another one of our tours! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

Afternoon Tea

Although it was a little more expensive than some other afternoon teas, the service and experience was above the ordinary. Here we were able to sample more than one selection of teas. The scones were made fresh for us and the tea sandwiches were delicious. Everything is served in fine silverware. The library setting is very relaxing and comfortable. We left the experience feeling we had got our money's worth. The location which is just outside Kensington Palace makes for an ideal afternoon of pampering.

Response from the operator: Dear Sandra_S Thank you for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed such a special afternoon tea experience with us. It’s wonderful to know that you appreciated the variety of teas, the freshly made scones, and the delicious sandwiches, as well as the elegant silver service and relaxing library setting. We’re especially pleased that the experience felt well worth it and that the location near Kensington Palace added to your afternoon of relaxation and indulgence. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us, and we hope to welcome you again for another memorable experience soon.

Great Experience

The food was great and the staff was very attentive and made sure we had enough tea and sandwiches. There was enough to make a meal from it.

Response from the operator: Dear Mark_H Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the food and that our staff took great care of you throughout your experience. It’s wonderful to know the tea and sandwiches were plentiful and satisfying enough to make a full meal, and that the team ensured you were well looked after. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you again soon! Evan Evans Tours

Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London cost?

+

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London take?

+

Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 86 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London?

+

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Afternoon Tea at The Milestone Hotel London start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
