    Worst trip ever!

Worst trip ever! First, they put us on a different kind of boat similar to a platoon boat but called it a catamaran because it had 2 hulls. Nowhere to sit in the sun or lay down as promised. Hard benches for seats. The crew did not speak to anyone about the trip at all, so didn’t know what to expect for the day. A paella lunch we were afraid to eat so had a piece of bread. No drinks included although was told there would be some sort of drink included, so had to pay for our drinks. I am so upset because I have used many Viator trips and almost all were wonderful. We should be refunded our 100 euros! Felt totally ripped off! If I could have given it a 0 star I would but a one will be for the beautiful sunshine day :(

It was disappointing., We have been on lots of these type tours, and although it was a reasonable boat - only one toilet for 100 people?? Food was provided...Average Paella , drinks, at a fee and a nice swim, but ..not too far from the Shore. It started in Carnage....some of the guests were given a band and others a small blue token (hardly something to "hang onto" on a boat! Seems that the people with bands paid more (only 6 Euros) to allow them to sit on the netting at the front. Captain very fussy about the food distribution ...little or no English spoken , music ok, trip, ok, food ok... But been on so many better trips on a boat.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. We take your comments seriously and are always working to improve—from the boarding process to communication and onboard comfort. We’re glad you enjoyed the swim and will continue striving to make each trip better.

    Forgot about us

Dreadful. They forgot to pick us up, refused to give a refund, refused to buy a taxi to get us back. Awful. Avoid at all costs.

    Take care !!!!

Booking & Boarding was easy, not too crowded, had complimentary drink, sailed out a way & stopped, we could be undercover if we wanted to be out of the sun. We sailed on a bit further but could still see the shore but there are not quaint calm coves to stop at When we did stop staff advised we can swim, no other instructions, me & my friend went in and began swimming and very quickly were swept far from the Catamaran, big waves were also choking us, staff were shouting to swim back but we could not, I am a strong swimmer but no match for the rough sea, staff threw us the life ring which was far away, I grabbed my friends hand and pulled her toward the ring very hard when struggling & choking myself we managed to get back and staff had to help me up onto ladder as zi was breathless & shocked. It was a very near drowning experience, I could not enjoy my paella which tasted nice as I was in a state of shock and felt sick & exhausted. Staff who know these waters should tell people not to swim far from the boat or it won't be long before there is a drowning Valencian waters are rough BEWARE !!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're truly sorry to hear it was distressing and want to assure you that your safety is very important to us. We appreciate your feedback and are reviewing the incident to improve our swimming guidelines and onboard communication. We're relieved you and your friend are safe, and we’ll work to ensure future guests feel secure and well-informed. Thank you again for helping us improve — and we truly hope to welcome you back for a much more relaxing experience.

    Too long

It was a little boring. 2 hours would have been sufficient.. Sails didn't work, so under motor, smell of diesel and rolling made people sick

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We understand that the sailing conditions weren't ideal, and we sincerely apologize for the discomfort caused by the use of the motor and the rolling. We value all customer feedback and will take your comments into consideration to improve our future trips. We hope you’ll give us another chance for a better experience next time.⛵ MUNDO MARINO CATAMARANES

A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.

How much does A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.

Is A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does A day at Sea aboard Mundo Marino Catamaran in Valencia start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Valencia?

    +

On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Valencia?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Valencia?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
