**Exceptional from Kilimanjaro to Safari — Altezza’s Operational Excellence Stands Out**
We used Altezza Travel for both our Kilimanjaro climb and an eight-day private safari, and after experiencing their operation firsthand, I can say they are an exceptionally well-run company. What impressed me most was their operational execution. A Kilimanjaro climb involves an enormous number of moving pieces—transportation, equipment, food, camps, guides, porters, safety monitoring, communication and constantly changing conditions on the mountain. Everything was handled extremely well. Throughout our entire experience, there were no significant operational issues. Their attention to detail started before the climb even began. My wife, Minal, traveled to Tanzania ahead of the rest of our family for her Kilimanjaro climb and was the only one in our group arriving by herself. She landed at Kilimanjaro International Airport at night, and Altezza thoughtfully arranged for a female driver to meet her and take her to the hotel. It was a small but very meaningful gesture that immediately made her feel comfortable and safe arriving alone in a new country. Details like this say a lot about how carefully a company thinks about the guest experience. The Kilimanjaro operation itself was impressive. Everyone knew their role, communication was excellent, and the entire operation felt structured and professional rather than improvised. The guides and support team worked incredibly hard and took excellent care of us. Safety and health monitoring were taken seriously, while the team still managed to make the experience personal, positive and enjoyable. After Kilimanjaro, we continued with Altezza on an eight-day private safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The same operational quality carried over to the safari. Transfers, accommodations, scheduling and logistics were handled smoothly, allowing us to simply enjoy Tanzania rather than worrying about the details. I also have to mention Altezza's safari vehicles. After spending many days in the parks and seeing vehicles from numerous operators, Altezza's vehicles really stood out. They were extremely well equipped, comfortable and clearly maintained to a very high standard. When you are spending long days driving through the Serengeti and other parks, the quality and reliability of the vehicle make a significant difference. Altezza clearly invests in this part of the experience, and it shows. A special recognition has to go to our driver-guide, **Justin Mlima**. Justin was fantastic. Beyond his tremendous knowledge of wildlife and Tanzania, it quickly became apparent that he is highly respected within the guiding community. Everywhere we went, people seemed to know Justin. He has the experience, instincts and relationships that only come from many years of guiding at a very high level. We came to think of him as a bit of a legend in the guiding community—and after spending eight days with him, we understood why. Our wildlife experiences were extraordinary. We saw cheetahs, leopard, lions, rhinos and countless other animals, and our balloon safari over the Serengeti was one of the highlights of our entire journey. Justin was excellent at understanding what interested us and adjusting the experience accordingly rather than simply following a standard itinerary. As a business owner myself, I tend to notice things that many travelers may not pay attention to—systems, staffing, communication, consistency and how an organization performs when there are many moving parts. That is probably what impressed me most about Altezza. Running a high-quality Kilimanjaro operation is difficult. Running a high-quality safari operation is also difficult. Doing both consistently requires excellent people, strong systems and a culture that pays attention to details. We spent several weeks traveling through Tanzania, climbed Kilimanjaro and completed an extensive safari without any meaningful operational problems. That doesn't happen by accident. We originally chose Altezza to help us experience Tanzania. By the end of the trip, we had developed tremendous respect not only for the country and its people, but also for the organization Altezza has built there. I would confidently use Altezza again and recommend them to anyone considering Kilimanjaro, safari, or a combination of both. I think the vehicle paragraph strengthens the review because it shows you were **comparing what you actually saw in the parks**, not just repeating Altezza’s marketing.

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE AND IMPECCABLE PROFESSIONALISM
The best experience imaginable. My wife and I went on a private safari to all 3 parks in Tanzania. Everything was perfect, a level of professionalism never seen in similar previous experiences we had in Asia and South America. Our guide, Anold, proved to be an expert, very kind, and thoughtful professional. But above all, a wonderful person on a human level. He made us feel like family from the first minute to the last day, and with his enormous patience and vast experience, he allowed us to see all 5 of the Big 5 perfectly. It is not possible to choose a different company than Altezza Travel

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
