VWI 8 day rajastan tour with private driver
We had an amazing 8 day tour of rajastan highlights with our wonderful driver Neetu. The whole process was clear and communication with Sukret was quick, accurate and efficient. We could adjust the tour if necessary. The tour does involve long drives ( it’s a huge country after all ) but having the private air conditioned car and driver makes it very comfortable.
Response from the operator: Dear Jackie 😊 Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that you had an amazing 8-day journey exploring Rajasthan with us. It’s great to know that you found the planning process smooth and communication clear — we always aim to make everything as easy and flexible as possible for our travelers. A special thank you for your kind words about Neetu — we’re very proud to have him on our team, and we’ll be sure to share your feedback with him 😊 You’re absolutely right — Rajasthan involves long distances, but we’re glad that the comfort of a private air-conditioned car made your journey enjoyable throughout. It was a real pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back to India again someday for another memorable experience! 🇮🇳

Rajasthan 7 day tour experience
We made a custom trip with operator who help us arrange car with driver and guides in key cities. We booked our own hotels directly. We travelled with adult family of 3, in well kept Innova and had a comfortable journey and felt safe travelling through several major cities in Rajastan during a peak period. We had started planning the tour early in the year and the operator was very helpful and help us efficiently before the tour. On the tour, they continued to be accessible and helpful communicating via WhatsApp by text or phone, with any communication issues on itinery plan or with the driver. Overall, we had a lot excellent experience over and extended period.
Response from the operator: Dear Manish, Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback — we truly appreciate it! We’re very happy to hear that your custom Rajasthan tour went smoothly and that you had a comfortable and safe journey with your family. It’s great to know that the Toyota Innova and overall travel arrangements met your expectations, especially during a busy travel period. We’re also glad that our team could support you both during the planning stage and throughout the trip. Staying connected and assisting quickly via WhatsApp is something we always aim to provide, so it’s wonderful to hear that it made your experience easier and more enjoyable. Thank you again for trusting us with your journey across Rajasthan. It was a pleasure organizing your trip, and we hope to welcome you back to India again in the future! 🇮🇳

Awesowe, exhaustive and exhausting!
Pros: Tour coordinator was prompt and professional, driver experienced and knowledgeable. Excellent overview of the historical, cultural and culinary heritage of the land of the Rajas. UNESCO heritage sites (royal observatory) and temples (Ranakpur Jain temple complex) are stunning and awe-inspiring. Each city fort and palace has unique features, and all are worth the time and cost of the visit, with the following caveats. Cons: Expect long hours of driving, brief and fewer sightseeing stops than billed by tour operator. Some palaces close early due to private functions, and others(e.g. Amer Fort, Jaipur) involve long delays due to traffic. The desert experience is loud and late, and light and dust pollution hinder stargazing. Poor air quality in cities is worse in winter months, and hotels facilities and amenities are quite variable within the 4-star package. Suggest personalizing itinerary to individual preferences, reducing number of sites and transfers, and/or extending tour to allow for a less hurried (and harried) holiday.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and balanced review. We truly appreciate your kind words about our tour coordination, experienced driver, and the rich historical, cultural, and culinary experiences across Rajasthan. It’s wonderful to know that highlights like the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar, the Ranakpur Jain Temple, and the forts and palaces of each city left a lasting impression. We also sincerely acknowledge your concerns. Rajasthan is a vast region, and travel times between cities can indeed be long, which sometimes limits sightseeing time—especially during peak traffic hours or when monuments close early due to private functions. Your feedback about the desert experience, winter air quality, and variability in hotel facilities within the 4-star category is noted and appreciated. Your suggestion to personalize itineraries, reduce transfers, or extend the tour duration is excellent and aligns with what we increasingly recommend to travelers seeking a more relaxed and immersive experience. We are actively working on offering more flexible, slow-paced itineraries tailored to individual interests. Thank you once again for your honest insights. Your feedback helps us improve and better guide future travelers in planning a truly enjoyable and meaningful journey through the land of the Rajas. 🌸

Every was good. Driver...
Every was good. Driver was very helpfull, but too much driving and very short time for sightseing. Visited sities were awesome. I didn't like tent camp.
Response from the operator: Dear Aleksandr, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review and for traveling with us on the 8 Day Rajasthan Tour. We’re pleased to hear that you found the driver helpful and enjoyed the beautiful cities you visited. Rajasthan is indeed a vast state, and traveling from one city to another does take time due to the long distances. However, the roads are generally very good, and many of our past guests have enjoyed the scenic drives and overall travel experience. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the sightseeing time and the tent camp. Your comments help us understand different traveler preferences and allow us to continue improving our itineraries and accommodation options. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back to India for another memorable journey in the future.

Excellent Trip with VWI Tours!
We had a wonderful 7-day trip through Rajasthan with VWi Tours. Sukret Sharma arranged all our transportation and guides across three cities, and everything went exactly as promised. Our car was spacious and spotless, and our driver was polite, punctual, and very safe. The local guides were knowledgeable and added so much to the experience. We’d happily recommend VWi to friends and family. Thank you, Sukret, for making our trip so smooth and memorable!
Response from the operator: Dear Vinnie, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! It truly means a lot to us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your 7-day Rajasthan trip and that everything—from the transportation and local guides to the overall planning—met your expectations. Our team works hard to ensure every guest feels comfortable, safe, and well taken care of, so your kind words are greatly appreciated. It was a pleasure organizing your journey, and I’m glad we could help make your visit smooth, memorable, and enjoyable. We would be very happy to welcome you, your friends, or your family again in the future.

8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Udaipur.
How much does 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur cost?
+
Prices start at $16273 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Udaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Udaipur is not rushed.
Is 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Udaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Udaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Udaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 8-Day Private Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Udaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Udaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Udaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with optional Guide, Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide, Udaipur Sightseeing Tour By Car With Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Udaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Udaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
