Great trip in Udaipur!!
Our guide Firoz did a great job in explaining us the history of Udaipur and the principality of Mewar. Walking through the City Palace, taking a cable car and walking through the parks, we learnt a lot about that magnificent place.

Awesome experience
We had this tour booked during our recent visit to Udaipur. We had a wonderful experience on our private city day tour. The entire trip was very well organized, comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. A special thanks to Haider for professional communication. He made sure everything was well arranged. Our driver Shakeel was excellent. He was punctual, polite, friendly and drove very safely. He made our journey stress-free. Our guide Firoz was knowledgeable, friendly and passionate out Udaipur’s history and culture. His explanations made the sights much more interesting. Shakeel and Firoz took us to some local food and tea spots that we would have never discovered on our own. Overall, we highly recommend this private udaipur tour.

A great tour of a beautiful city.
A big thank you to Mr Idris (the guide) and Mr Haider (the driver). I felt comfortable and at ease as a solo traveler. Idris has a vast knowledge of all things Udaipur! His English skills are excellent and he can answer any question posed. He facilitates the tour YOU wish to have and offers suggestions. I, for example, did not want to do any shopping and that was fine. The day was varied with several site visits, all done at a leisurely pace. Mr Haider has great driving skills and was safe and courteous to other road users.

Great day of discovering Udaipur with M Firoz
We had a fantastic day of visiting with M Firoz and the very nice driver, starting with a deep and passionate visit of the City Palace and then of many of the most important attractions to see in Udaipur. M Firoz had a perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable, very easy to follow and knew so many anecdotes to share with us! If you want to spend a full day to discover the beauties of Udaipur, in English, I definitely recommend this tour :)

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Udaipur.
How much does Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $6500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Udaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Udaipur is not rushed.
Is Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 208 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Udaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide?
+
Around 73 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Udaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Udaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Udaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Udaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Udaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Private Udaipur Sightseeing Tour with optional Guide, Udaipur Sightseeing Tour By Car With Guide, Udaipur Countryside Biking excursion. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Udaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Udaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
