An Unforgettable Kilimanjaro Trek & Safari – The Trip of a Lifetime!
We recently booked an 8-day trek along the Lemosho Route to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with Mountain Warriors, followed by a 3-day safari. Because we were the only ones who had booked during this period, Mountain Warriors ran the entire trek just for the two of us, making it a completely personalized experience. We could not have asked for a better team—from start to finish, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and deeply cared for. Our guides, Sam and Justin, were immediately warm, trustworthy, and likeable. Open communication was a top priority for them throughout the entire journey. They enriched every day not only with their amazing personalities, but also with their vast knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and culture. They cared for us with the utmost professionalism and genuine warmth. The entire porter crew was incredibly friendly and always eager to help. We lacked absolutely nothing! Even though we are vegetarian, our cook, Obama, catered to our diet perfectly—the food morning, noon, and night was delicious, and clean drinking water was always available. Since I get cold easily at night, William always brought me a hot water bottle in the evenings, which was such a thoughtful touch. One of the highlights was Sam’s suggestion to do summit day during the daytime to avoid the extreme nighttime cold. It was hands down the best idea! It allowed us to pace ourselves comfortably without any crowds on the trail, and we ended up having the entire summit all to ourselves. When my husband suffered from altitude sickness, Sam and Justin stayed completely calm and, together with Rajabu and Hasan, safely helped him reach the top. Even after the summit, the entire team continued to take amazing care of us. To top it all off, on our last evening on the mountain, Obama surprised us with a freshly baked cake for our honeymoon, and the whole crew sang for us. We genuinely could not have imagined a better crew! Following our trek, we set off early in the morning for a 3-day safari, spending two nights in luxury tented camps in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The chosen accommodations were unique and extremely comfortable. Our driver, Aslam, was an absolute expert with incredible experience. He shared fascinating insights about every animal and managed to show us the Big Five because he knew precisely where to look. We are beyond happy with our experience with Mountain Warriors and highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Tanzania. We made memories for a lifetime and already miss Sam, Justin, and the entire crew! — Lisa & Alex

Reaching the summit safe and sound with a excellent team
An incredible nice experience! I was treated like a king. At the Beginning I was surprised to be the only tourist in the group. But that helped to have my own pace and to get to know the the Crew. They did such a nice Work. Abdi got me up to the mountain summit, but also to the summit of joy, nowledge, nature, culture. Frank, the Chef, is a real "stomach engineer" I had no problems except eating too much. William was as Porter and Waiter all the time up for me with smiles and help. Rama and Jeni were up for a talk and porting. Alex and John with a Smile and strong porting, Karim as well and helping to reach the summit. I would highly recommend exactly the same team and tour. I felt all the time safe and comfortable. Thank you very much!

Well-organised, experienced and enthusiastic!
Climbing Kilimanjaro through 8 Day Lemosho route was an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was down to our incredible guides, Sam and Justin. Their experience really showed in how thoughtfully they supported each of us so differently. They gave my mum (an experienced mountaineer) the flexibility she needed, while offering me endless support and guidance as a first-time climber. Sam had a really calm confident presence, whilst Justin was keeping things light and funny, whilst leading us up a mountain step by step. What stood out most was how observant and attentive they were. They genuinely try to read you as a person and adjust best they can. They watched every step we took, prioritising safety, and made us feel completely looked after from start to summit. Another big highlight was our chef, Obama. Not only did he bring an infectious, bubbly energy to the team, but he somehow managed to create the most creative and comforting meals in mountain conditions. His food went above and beyond and made a huge difference to morale and energy every single day. I would absolutely recommend Sam, Justin, Obama, and their entire team of porters, who were enthusiastic, positive, and supportive throughout the whole journey. A special mention goes to our summit porter, Bob, whose vigilance and calm presence made me feel incredibly safe during the toughest moments. This team really took care of us and it was really sad saying goodbye after 8 days. Wishing them all the best going forward and thank you for the memories!

Eli and team were amazing
We hiked with Eli, Oscar and the team with my friend. It was an amazing experience. We were well fed and taken care of. Eli is an amazing leader and he kept us motivated and safe all the time. On the summit night Eli made sure we reach the top and we both did. The team of porters were also amazing, I don’t think we would have done it without them.
