An amazing trip - Everest View Trek

G’day mate, Just got back from an epic adventure with Going Nepal, and I’ve gotta say, it was a ripper of a trip! I had the pleasure of doing the Everest View Trek with them, and let me tell ya, the luxury facilities were top-notch. They really know how to make you feel like a VIP while you’re chasing the snow-capped peaks! Going Nepal did a stellar job customising my itinerary to match exactly what I was after. Even though July isn’t the best time for trekking in Nepal – a bit of a monsoon mess, really – the experience was still bloody brilliant. The lush, green scenery and fewer crowds made it a unique and memorable journey. And, mate, the cherry on top was the helicopter ride back from Lukla to Kathmandu. Floating above the Himalayas with those jaw-dropping views was like something out of a dream. It was the perfect way to wrap up an already fantastic trip. If you’re thinking of trekking in Nepal and want a hassle-free, luxe experience, Going Nepal’s the mob you wanna go with. Can’t recommend them enough! Cheers, Devid Grone, Melbourne

Our team works hard to provide top-notch luxury facilities and personalised itineraries, so it's great to know we hit the mark for you. We agree, July can be a bit of a monsoon mess, but we're glad you enjoyed the lush scenery and fewer crowds. And we're stoked that the helicopter ride from Lukla to Kathmandu was a highlight for you—those views truly are something special! Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we appreciate your high recommendation. If you ever plan another adventure, we'd love to help make it just as memorable. Our Dream Come True, unforgettable Journey

This year, our long-awaited dream finally came true, a trip we had eagerly anticipated since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The experience exceeded all our expectations, transforming our journey into an unforgettable adventure. The hotels selected for our stay were nothing short of luxurious. In Monjo and Namche, the Mountain Lodge offered comfort and charm amidst breathtaking landscapes. The Everest View Hotel, perched with a stunning panorama, truly lived up to its name, providing us with views that were both awe-inspiring and serene. In Kathmandu, we stayed at the prestigious Soaltee, where every detail was meticulously customized to cater to our preferences. One of the most exhilarating parts of our trip was the helicopter flight from the Everest View Hotel to Kalapathar. The experience left us in awe, and my parents and colleagues couldn’t stop praising the idea. Although the weather didn't entirely favor us, preventing a clear panoramic view of the region, our spirits remained undampened as we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The local organizer, Going Nepal - DMC, was fantastic. Lila, our contact person, was exceptional, always staying in touch and updating us through our guide. Her dedication and attention to detail were unparalleled. She embodied the company's ethos when she told me, "Come as a client and return home as a friend and goodwill ambassador." What a beautiful concept that perfectly captures the essence of our experience. This trip was a unique and enriching experience that I had never had in my life. Much appreciated and highly recommended, I urge future travelers to use Going Nepal - DMC for their adventures in Nepal. This journey has not only fulfilled our dreams but also created lifelong memories and friendships.

Response from the operator: Dear Shophia, Thank you for your beautiful Review, Well described about your trip to Everest View Trek, I think your language translator did not know, I'm purely a man not woman, anyway, if you have time please go to the page and edit it. if not its ok, in Nepal Lila name goes to Male and Female. Thank you again for your review. With best regards, Liladhar Bhandari CEO | Travel Advisor

First time at 4700 meter height.

Thank you Mr. Lila! I am glad to be part of the Nepal tour. I was never been such close to nature, especially during the winter season, It was 10-Dec-2021. I shall never forget the tour and the coldness in my life. Again thanks a lot to our tour maintainer. His plan and arrangement was excellent. For my next future Nepal tour I must recall Mr. Lila, InshaAllah.

Response from the operator: Thank you Manik, Yes, you made it to 4700m from the sea-level, I sure you enjoyed the trip. I always flexible to reschedule the itinerary as per the situation and weather condition and physical conditions. Hope to welcome you back to Nepal in following years. i'm always at your service.

An amazing Himalayan adventure!

We used the GoingNepal agency to organize a fantastic trek in the Khumbu Valley to Everest View and Tengboche and also a day tour of Kathmandu Valley to visit Bhaktapur and Patan, and a day birding excursion. The agency’s director, Lila, is fabulous—highly competent, responsive, accommodating to our needs and willing to make changes to the itinerary when we wished, very organized, and a wonderful human being. Our excellent guide on the trek to Everest View, Yek, made everything worry free by ensuring we made our flights in the chaos of the airport in Kathmandu, got to our lodgings, took care of every detail and ensured we had what we needed to enjoy our trip. He was great company too! We had two porters for our group of four who were very polite, dependable, and extremely helpful. Accommodations were just right for us and the journey on foot through the spectacular valley on the way to Everest was amazing. Fascinating small villages, colorful monasteries, friendly local Sherpa people, and the Himalayas. Perfect! Our day trips in the Kathmandu Valley were also excellent, with a pleasant and knowledgeable guide and a careful, safe driver. GoingNepal is a wonderful tour company with stellar staff who provides a memorable personally tailored adventure. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Dear Joe and family, Thank you for your outstanding review, this us how we deliver the service and make our clients happy and send back with big smile and wow memory. Thank you again for your beautiful compliments. Cheers.

12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $4689 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek take?

+

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 288-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 12 Day Private Mt. Everest View Luxury Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
