Another great trek organised by Bhairam
This is the third trek we've done with Nepal Hiking (previously also called Nepal Trailblazer Trekking) and once again it was a great adventure. It is also the third time Chhabi has been our guide and again he was a great guide and companion. The highlights for us this time were: - the trek through the rhododendron forest to and from Ghorepani, which is still lovely (although the steps up from Ulleri are not for the feint hearted!) - a very pleasant stay at Chueli - seeing langur monkeys close up on the way to Himalaya - the spectacular views at Machhupachare and Annapurna Base Camps - also great views and a comfortable lodge at Deurali (before Pothana) on the way back Bhairam and Chhabi took care of organising the details of the trek and we were very happy with the results.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your nice review. Thank you once again for making your 3rd treks with us; appreciate your trust and credibility towards our company. Glad to know that you enjoyed the trek with a great experience. We can't wait for your 4th treks with us again.

William Burton (USA) and William Burton (Barbados) Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
From the day my cousin and I were met at the airport in Kathmandu until the day we left Nepal our guide and porter made our trip a wonderful experience. All throughout our hike the staff at Nepal hiking made our comfort and safety their number one priority. We would highly recommend this trekking company to anyone contemplating a hiking trip to Nepal. Ask for our guide, Mr. Gakul and his porter uncle Gopi and you will not be disappointed.
Response from the operator: Thank you for posting your nice review! We are glad to know that you had a wonderful experience with our guide and porter during your trek in Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal. We hope you will travel to Nepal again soon and be sure to let us know; so we can plan to make your next visit even better one. Cheers, Tilak

12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill cost?
+
Prices start at $1224 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 288-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 12 days A Perfect hiking tour to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
