Wine Tasting Review
Good: Camilla was a very lovely hostess, she completed a very detailed review of each wine we tried with what to pair it with e.g 25hr Sparkling Rosé with Light cheese, bread w/olive oil etc. The amount of wine given was small glass but enough to thoroughly enjoy it. The prices of wine were reasonable for the summer sale e.g €5 for Rose Bad: We paid 30€ each (120€ - 4ppl) and I would say it was overpriced. We got a tasting of 5 wines, plate of salami/cheese, different types of bruschetta - it felt as though it would have been worth it if it was 25€ each and not 30€. Not a big difference however as a family of 4 it was. Overall, we had a lovely experience and the staff were all nice. Would definitely recommend as if you do not know what types of wine you like, this can show you a variety.

Great Experience
This was a great and quick experience. The cheese and meats were incredible! I forget the person's name that served us but she was great. We found some wines we don't typically drink and got a few bottles to enjoy the rest of our trip. It was definitely worth the stop. We loved it!

Poor value for money
Our visit to the winery was spontaneous on a hot day in San Gimignano. We decided to have a 4er wine tasting with snacks. Unfortunately, you could not choose the wine to be tested from the extensive menu yourself = 1. Shortcoming. We would have liked to have decided for ourselves! The snacks were very clear, little! = 2. Manko Nevertheless, we decided to buy 6 bottles of wine and 3 bottles of prosecco. Unfortunately, there were no 6 boxes and no 3s for the Prosecco! So single! = 3. Manko I understand that a wine tasting (even with specified wines) costs something: 25 €/person is fierce. However, I would have expected to get some of it credited when buying (>100€)! Or 1-2 bottles for free? = 4. Manko Overall poor price/performance ratio!
Response from the operator: Guten Abend, es tut mir leid, dass Ihnen Ihr Besuch bei uns während einer Weinprobe nicht gefallen hat. Unsere Weinproben finden Sie in unserem Direktverkauf.

Thoroughly enjoyed this wine tasting experience. Friendly knowledgeable staff, delicious food and wine.
Very pleasant experience. We were treated by our guide Camill, an extremely friendly and knowledgeable lady who provided us with a wealth of information about the vineyard and wine making process. We tasted 4 wines all very nice and had a tasting board with cheese, bread, bruschetta, cured meats, which was delicious.
Response from the operator: Good evening, thank you for your kind words! We're happy that our customers can sense our love for our work. We hope to have you as our guests again for another round of tastings! Sincerely, Staff Palagetto

How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting "San Gimignano"?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +
On Outty we rank every San Gimignano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wine and food tasting in an organic family winery, Tuscan Cooking Class, Tuscany Wine Tour: 2 Wineries & Chianti from San Gimignano. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Gimignano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Gimignano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
