The environment is the protagonist of this excursion. You will approach the fauna in total freedom, admiring close up herons, fishermen martins, diving ducks and even river crocodiles. Crocodile watching is a safe experience, as it is a quiet animal during the day. It is carried out in boats with oars so as not to alter the fauna. You will visit the famous beach of Zipolite and then head to Puerto Angel, to enjoy, if you wish, a delicious meal based on fresh seafood and an endless variety of dishes for all tastes.

Laguna Ventanilla
We will begin this magical adventure with a small trip approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Bahías de Huatulco, there is Ventanilla, which is classified as a Protected Natural Reserve; We will take a walking tour along a path of approximately 15 min to board the boat driven by rowing by people from the same town. During the tour of the boat we will observe the different types of mangroves unique to the region and where different species of reptiles live , birds (such as: the woodpecker, the kingfisher, the diving duck), herons, crocodiles and iguanas, all these species will surprise us during this great experience.

Mazunte
Later we will go to Mazunte considered a "Magic Town", in this charming place we will discover these streets full of traditions of the coast of the state of Oaxaca, we will take the opportunity to try regional products such as Mezcal, Coffee and Chocolate. a wonderful place to buy gifts for your relatives, the traditional dresses are hand-embroidered with threads of incredible colors.

Then we will continue the trip to go to Zipolite, one of the important beaches of the state where, we will rest and appreciate the charming atmosphere that this beach offers.

Later we will go to Puerto Ángel, a former port made for the export of coffee, to visit a restaurant facing the sea on the beach of Estacahuite where we will enjoy its food based on fresh seafood and an endless number of dishes for the taste of each person. (this visit is optional), you will have time to swim and to end this adventure we return to Bahías de Huatulco.

Santa Cruz Huatulco
During our pick-up and return between Huatulco, Ventanilla and Puerto Angel we can discover by the side of the road, the peasant world of the coast with its traditional farms, the plantations of pineapples, coconut palms, mais, sesame, mangoes, seven varieties of bananas without forgetting the zebu cattle with their brahma bulls that carry a ball of fat on their backs. Your guide will take the opportunity to tell you some of the local story. Back to Huatulco we will take you to your hotel lobby. Transfer duration: 1 hour 20 minutes. Good Experience
Edgar, the guide did a good job navigating all 4 stops. Lagoon stop was Wonderful. it’s very buggy. Lots of mosquitoes. I didn’t have any bug spray, but was wearing long clothes. The other stops were OK. As it was pouring rain, we couldn’t really do much walking. The restaurant was decent. Nice to be able to visit these four beaches

Disappointed
This trip was not what we expected. We are experienced travelers. Delayed start by 1/2 hour as a couple staying in our hotel received wrong start time. Guide was pleasant, but said he spoke some English. Therefore, as all the local guides gave information in Spanish, we learned not very much. There was no information about what we were seeing on our 2 hour ride to the Lagoon. Two hours at the Lagoon was too long as boat ride short and watching the deer too long. Again, since all in Spanish, we were just observers. Looking forward to Manzunte, but it was only a smelling of organic cosmetics and opportunity to purchase. We did not understand anything as in Spanish. Zipollite was okay. Pretty stretch of beach. Short stop. Long, late lunch in Puerto Angel. No time to explore or any information about the stop. 6 pm Mezcal, Coffee, Chocolate sampling across street from restaurant in Puerto Angel. Arrival back in Santa Cruz at 8:30 pm We did enjoy the people in group.

Disappointed
Mixed feelings about this tour. Enjoyed each activity but spent far too much time at most. It was more than a ten hour day. The boat tour of the eco reserve was very interesting but although the tour promised an English guide our guide only spoke Spanish; there wasn’t room for our well- meaning tour guide on the boat. The tour advertises brunch and refreshments provided but there was none except water bottles. Instead we were ushered to a restaurant at our own expense at 3:30- way past lunch time. I would not do this trip again.
