    Over priced, DO NOT BOOK

I have to start by saying this excursion was EXTREMELY over priced. We paid around $400 for my husband and I to take this trip. We were promised 4 stops, everything included except for lunch including water, and access to parks, for $400. Our first stop was to a trash filled parking lot at a beach called Zipolite. I'm not even sure why we stopped here. It literally was a trash filled parking lot for a beach that we didn't get to do anything in? He said we could take a picture in front of the sign? Again not sure why we even stopped here. Our next stop was to a cacao and coffee shop. That was fine. Our next stop was to the park where the crocodiles were located. We were told we had to pay admission to this park. We should not have been made to pay admission to this park! We paid $400 for this trip! We SHOULD NOT have had to pay access for this. Also, if we EXTREMELY hot. No water was provided. We had to purchase water everywhere we went. Then we went to lunch which was good. Our next stop was supposed to be the sunset turtle release. It was 5 o'clock. Our tour for tried to have us pay again to release the turtles, we told him no that was included. He said okay and I guess talked to the turtle place to let us release the turtles? Anyway, the whole trip was to release turtles. It literally was just holding a turtle in a coconut shell in the hot sun. That was it. There was no sunset release where you get to relax and watch the turtles. This excursion was COMPLETELY over priced and NOT WORTH IT. TripAdvisor I want my money back from being charged to enter the parks, upon booking this excursion of was listed that that was included. Also you will need lots and lots of water because it's not included and you will need pesos. Do not book this trip!

Response from the operator: Dear Danielle, thank you for giving us your feedback about your tour. We are very focused on providing the best customer experience for all of our guests. After following up with your tour guide, we learned that all services were provided as promised. ALL entrance fees were paid for you, water bottles were provided. It seems like you came into this excursion with different expectations. You can tell from our customer reviews that most guests really enjoyed their experience with us. You are currently requesting a full refund, which is ludicrous, considering we have photos and videos that your tour guide took of you, where you thoroughly enjoyed your tour, smiling and cheering, holding baby turtles. We even have your private messages with the guide, sent the day after, asking for the photos and videos of your memorable experience. We understand that times are tough at the moment, but booking a tour and enjoying all the services, and then afterwards posting negative reviews and hoping for refund is not very ethical. Not sure if this works with the other tour companies, but we do not support this kind of fraudulent behavior.

    Once in a lifetime experience

4-1 tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Ramiro, was very informative about the local area and friendly. We got to see a lot of wild life out in the open, small towns we didn't know existed and excellent local food.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words about Ramiro and your tour experience! We're glad you got to see so much of the local area and enjoy the wildlife and food. We hope you visit us again soon :)

    Great way to explore Oaxaca

Ramiro, our guide, was great! There were 2 couples, the others spoke fluent Spanish and I had limited fluency. He made sure to talk to both of us so we understood, and explained the history of the region as well as the current activity. We loved the chocolate shop, I would recommend washing your hands first, since they put samples in them to try. The turtle sanctuary was really cool, and releasing babies was wonderful. It's a bit of a walk on the beach in the sun but a great experience. The body products facility was also nice, and they have decent products. We bought the citronella mosquito repellent creme, like it so far. The crocodile lagoon is also a great way to see a lot of native species in their own environment. The food on the island is fantastic! Try the sopes and the quesadillas, and use the nopales on both. We also tried some mezcal...good stuff! Over all it was a long day, but really worth it for the experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words about Ramiro and for your great recommendations! We're glad you enjoyed the chocolate shop, turtle sanctuary, body products facility, and crocodile lagoon. We're also glad you enjoyed the food on the island and got to sample different foods from our culture. We hope you visit us again soon :)

How much does 4-in-1 Tour - Mazunte,Cacao Factory, La Ventanilla & Turtle Spawn cost?

    +

Prices start at $218 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Huatulco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4-in-1 Tour - Mazunte,Cacao Factory, La Ventanilla & Turtle Spawn take?

    +

Is 4-in-1 Tour - Mazunte,Cacao Factory, La Ventanilla & Turtle Spawn worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Huatulco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4-in-1 Tour - Mazunte,Cacao Factory, La Ventanilla & Turtle Spawn?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4-in-1 Tour - Mazunte,Cacao Factory, La Ventanilla & Turtle Spawn suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Huatulco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Huatulco and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Huatulco?

    +

On Outty we rank every Huatulco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour to Copalitilla Magical Waterfalls from Huatulco with admission included, Huatulco Ocean Eco Adventures, Huatulco: Waterfalls & Oaxacan Food. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Huatulco?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Huatulco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
