    A Must Do

Hatty our tour guide was witty, entertaining and informative. The tour was the perfect balance between providing in-depth information, but without dragging on. A large emphasis was put on tasting the various products and they were very generous. Those who were driving also got given a takeaway bag so that they didn't miss out. Carrot cake from the cafe was very tasty. The only thing to consider is, taxis from Shipston are scarce and infrequent so ensure you book them in advance.

Response from the operator: Dear Kamrang1995, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this great review. I’m really glad to hear your family had a great day at The Cotswolds Distillery but we didn’t provide this tour as we offer a chauffeur service on our tours and so you wouldn’t need a taxi from Shipston if you had booked with us at Bespoke England Tours. Best wishes, David

    Very interesting visit

A must for Whiskey and Gin lovers. Hattie our tour guide was friendly and very informative, it was good to hear how the company started , and to see the distilling process from start to finish. The tasting part of the tour was absolutely fabulous ,we were able to try several different flavours of our own choice and then the option to buy from the shop. For those who were driving not to be left out were given their tasters to take home to enjoy. The whole experience was pleasurable and obvious for all to see the passion that is put into it. Many thanks to Hattie & Alison.

Response from the operator: Dear Alison & Hattie, Thanks for taking the time to leave us this great review. We’ll pass on your feedback to the rest of the team and hope to see you again. Best wishes, David

    Lovely place to visit

We sadly couldn’t get booked into the tour because they were fully booked. But we still went to see the shop, cafe and watch the video about the beginning of this wonderful place. Stella was so delightful, friendly and helpful and we sampled many of their gins and a whiskey. Cannot recommend this enough!

Response from the operator: Hi Carol, Thank you for taking the time to leave this review but I think this review was meant for The Cotswolds Distillery itself. We are Bespoke England Tours and we arrange private car tours from London to visit the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty and on some tours we visit this distillery. Although on this occasion you didn't take this tour with us we agree that The Cotswolds Distillery is an amazing place and well worth a visit. If you had been on one of our private tours you definitely would have got to do the whole distillery tour although it seems you had a lovely day anyway. Thanks, David Garcia Owner Bespoke England Tours

    Superb...would ho again :)

Great trip...Best value for money, David was great and we felt we had much more than what we paid for. Private tour is already a must do for couples and small groups and when you have such a knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor it cannot go wrong. Car was spotless clean, David is very punctual and speaks 3 + languages....I strongly recommend this company, 5 stars.

Response from the operator: Dear Lord Lippi, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We're extremely satisfied to read that you thoroughly enjoyed your tour. We look forward to setting up more tours for your family in the future. Best wishes, David

Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $1006 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Whisky and Gin Private Tour in the Cotswolds with Driver Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
