London Stadium
The London Stadium is formerly known as Olympic Stadium and The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was built for the 2012 Summer Olympic, 2012 Summer Paralympics as the track and field venue, as well as the site for their opening and closing ceremonies. The stadium was a flexible open-air platform at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London Stratford district. The stadium was later renovated and is now mostly used as a home for West Ham United of Premier League as a multi-purpose stadium for football lovers. West Ham United Football Club is a Stratford-based, East London professional English football club. West Ham proudly reached the highest division of English football in the Premier League. The club is playing at the London Stadium, which has moved Boleyn Ground from its former home in 2016. The club was founded in 1895 and renamed in 1900 as West Ham United by Thames Ironworks. Therefore, you can see the two hammers on the coat of arms. In 1904, the club moved to Boleyn Hill, where they lived more than a hundred years. The Southern and Western League team originally played before joining the Football League in 1919. In 1923, the club was promoted to the top flight after they faced finalists at the Wembley FA Cup Final. The first Football League War Cup was won by the club in 1940, hurrah! The first public function at the Olympic Stadium, which was the finishing line for the National Lottery Olympic Park Run on 31 March 2012. The five-mile run around the Olympic Park was attended by five thousand people, including celebrities, British athletes and the winning public at the national lottery competition. We have 4 different vibrant tours for today.

Fantastic tour and guide
Had a brilliant tour of West Ham’s stadium today. Graham looked after us superbly, really personable , friendly and incredibly informative throughout. It was fascinating getting to see West Ham’s 'new' home and learn more about the club and stadium. Graham really made the experience for us. The only small suggestion would be to provide a lanyard as a little memento of the tour, particularly for younger visitors. My son loves collecting them from the different stadiums we visit, and it’s something we’ve received at other clubs, so he was a little disappointed not to get one here. That aside, a fantastic experience and a great tour. Highly recommended!

Fab Football Fan Tour
Loved this tour of the London Stadium. Great way to spend a few hours with family or friends. Tour guide Johnathan was very passionate and knowledgeable about West Ham and the history behind the London Stadium. If you’re a Ted Lasso fan you also get a little bonus of being in the the dressing room where it was filmed and Roy Kent’s bench.

Great experience with Graham our Tour Guide
We visited the stadium on the 25th of May for our tour, which was led by Graham. My 10-year-old son wanted to write a review about the tour. “Graham was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the club's (West Ham) history and was really funny in a good way. He made it something I would never forget. My favourite part was how they could transform it from a stadium into a baseball pitch into a stage for concerts. It was the best experience with the best tour guide (Graham) and I would definitely do it again.”

What about the history of West Ham
The low score is not a reflection on the tour guide but a reflection of the content of the tour, the guide was clearly working from a pre approved narrative. The tour focussed on the stadium rather than the history of this fine football club. Little mention of its founding and the eventual fallout by the club with the founder whose family effectively controlled the club until 2006. Almost no mention or anecdotes about the fine managers that West Ham have had Ron Greenwood, John Lyall, Harry Redknapp and David Moyes, two of whom won European trophies for the club. No deep dive into Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst or Martin Peter’s who won the World Cup whilst playing for West Ham No anecdotes about the conference cup win either. It wasn’t the guides fault but most on this tour have no interest in the Olympics, Baesball or concerts at the stadium. A more concentrated history of West Ham would be appreciated

Great experience
Had a fantastic time on a match day tour. The tour guide, graham, made it extra special for my son (whose birthday it was) and his friend, when we walked through the players tunnel. Was great to hear some history about the club, amazing to see behind the scenes on a match day and also the baseball rooms too. Fantastic experience.

Why this scores 44
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $492 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does West Ham United FC London (Olympic) Stadium Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
