fascinating experience with this professional and dedicated guide
I spent just two nights in Bucharest on a solo trip, and this tour ended up being the highlight of my stay. After about an hour and a half of walking, we had dinner together in a cozy, traditional Romanian restaurant with a modern twist — simply stellar! Iana is a genuine story teller and amazing tour guide
Iana, our guide, picked us up from the hotel, and then we walked along Calea Victoriei, one of the most important streets in Bucharest. She showed us the balcony from which Ceaușescu gave his last speech, the ex Royal Palace, churches and many other tourist attractions as well as some hidden gems. She spoke very interestingly and humorously about the Romanian Athenaeum and the Casa Mița Biciclista. At the end, we had dinner at a traditional Romanian restaurant with a modern twist, and we let Iana choose the dishes for us — which turned out to be an excellent decision. I highly recommend this tour for solo travelers, couples, or small groups of two.
