Hike and snorkel at a gorgeous beach
Great experience with a knowledgeable local guide. We got picked up at our hotel and then went to a secluded trail that lead to a pristine beach. We snorkeled and he got excellent pics and videos using my GoPro. He also brought us beer and water to enjoy on the beach afterward. A great way to get off the resort and explore Huatulco.
Response from the operator: Hello from paradise. Thank you so much for your comment, we hope to see you back soon.

Wonderful private experience, go early!
This was an amazing tour. Highly recommend going as early as possible. We were greeted right off our cruise ship by friendly folks and taken to a couple of cars. (We had a group of 6, plus 1 extra from the ship). They made sure we had snorkel gear in hand (we all brought our own) and then drove to the park entrance. The bay was about a 10 minute walk through a well groomed trail, where the guides talked about some of the birds and other animals in the area. The bay itself was beautiful and tucked away. Soft sand beaches, and a nice entry into the water, with a shoreline reef right off the beach. The guides (we had 2) split up, 1 watching gear and the other in the water with us. We snorkeled for a couple hours, eventually getting out once the boat tours started doing their 20-30 minute drops of 20 people in the water with life vests. The water was clear, and tons and tons of fish were seen. After the snorkel, we played in the water on the beach a bit, sipping water and beers. When we were all ready to go back, no pressure from the guides, we took the 10 minute hike back to the road, and then the guides drove us to a couple wonderful lookout spots to see more bays, and whales. It was very chill and relaxing, and both guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Hugo and Matteo were a good combo!
Response from the operator: Hello from paradise. Thank you so much for your comment, we hope to see you back soon. We're happy that the experience was fantastic.

Beautiful bay, but not great snorkeling
This was a beautiful beach and our guide, Eduardo, was informative and interesting, with great English, and he took good care of us . The bay felt safe, but the snorkeling was disappointing: dead coral and few fish, though the swimming was beautiful.
Response from the operator: Hello from paradise. Thank you for your comment. We hope to see you back soon and that this time the marine life will be revealed in full color.

Perfect tour for this beautiful part of Mexico!
My husband and I had the best experience with Homietours! We did the hike and snorkel experience and were so happy with the whole trip. The bay was absolutely stunning with perfect waters to swim in. Lots of fish and other sea life to take in. Our guide Hugo was so friendly and knowledgeable. He identified lots of plants and animals of the area and answered any and all questions. He had great recommendations for our stay in the area as well and even offered to show us a few local favorite spots in the city center. My husband speaks very little Spanish, so Hugo’s English speaking tour was what we needed. If you are in Huatulco, you should definitely get a tour from Hugo and his crew!
Response from the operator: Hello from paradise. Thank you very much for your comment, Hugo is a very important element in our company and is passionate about his work. We hope to see you back very soon.

Walk through national park and snorkel on quiet secluded beach
Hugo took us on a walk in the Huatulco National Park that lead to a secluded beach for snorkelling. We saw many tropical fish and even a turtle swimming by. We had an hour or more to enjoy snorkelling. Hugo was an easy going , kind and thoughtful guide. We enjoyed our trip with him.
Response from the operator: Hello from paradise. One of Hugo's many favorites too. Thanks for your recommendation and we hope to see you back soon.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Huatulco.
How much does Walk And Snorkel In The National Park HT cost?

How long does Walk And Snorkel In The National Park HT take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Huatulco is not rushed.
Is Walk And Snorkel In The National Park HT worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Huatulco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Walk And Snorkel In The National Park HT?
+

Is Walk And Snorkel In The National Park HT suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book Walk And Snorkel In The National Park HT?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Huatulco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Huatulco and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Huatulco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Huatulco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
