Day in Transylvania
Victor was our guide/driver. He picked us up right on time. Car was immaculate. The entire day lasted from 8am until 7pm. We had a great visit to Pelea Castle as well as the other sights. Victor was a great guide! We learned so much about Romania, his love for his country and his family. At the end of the day we felt like we had spent the day with a friend, not someone we just met. If you want a great guide do not hesitate to ask for Victor!!
Response from the operator: Hello. Thank you for choosing the services offered by our company Tours4joy and we are also delighted to give you the same services any time for you or far your friends.

Buyer beware- tickets not confirmed!
I booked this tour over 6 months before my trip to Romania. My primary interest was in Peleş Castle. On the day of my tour the driver was buying tickets at the door for each location. When we reached Peleş castle they were sold out! Imagine my disappointment. The only reason I rated the tour a 3 instead of a 1 was the driver did try to make up for it by taking us to 2 additional palaces. Another concern is when it said lunch not included I assumed there would still be a chance to stop and eat. I was wrong. 8 hours - no food!
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for bringing this omission to our attention. Unfortunately, the castle's online reservation system does not work very well and we often face problems in honoring tour reservations in Peleș. Because of this problem, we prefer to get the tickets at the location to avoid problems. Unfortunately, the excessive crowding on the day you arrived and the fact that there was an official event in the castle on that day led to the impossibility of purchasing tickets. We appreciate your opinion and we look forward to seeing you anytime in Bucharest, Romania.

A beautiful day in Romania visiting Dracul
A beautiful full day visiting 2 sites of interest for those fascinated by Vlad Dracul! Also the most beautiful Peles Castle. Peles was very crowded but we enjoyed a wonderful meal for lunch as recommended by our guide Victor. He was an amazing guide, great driver and accommodating host! I absolutely loved this day!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for appreciating our services and we are here for you whenever you need us!

A beautiful day trip for Dracula and more
A very fun day! Victor was our guide and driver for the day. He was very gracious and accommodating to whatever we needed to do. The sights are wonderful and the drive very comfortable and beautiful scenery on the way. We stopped for a delicious lunch and appreciate Victor’s recommendation. We highly recommend this trip and ask for Victor!
Response from the operator: We are happy to know that you appreciated the tour offered by our company Tours4joy and we hope that you will choose us next time.

I must do for Dracula fans!
Some ruins, some in perfect condition. Also has a little museum. If you’re a fan of Dracula, or history, you will love it. The view from the tower is stunning.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the appreciation, it was a pleasure for me and my team to accompany you on this journey

Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bucharest.
How much does Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bucharest usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bucharest is not rushed.
Is Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bucharest, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Vlad the Impaler Royal Court from Târgoviște, Peleș Castle and Dracula grave start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bucharest within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bucharest?
+
On Outty we rank every Bucharest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Real tour of Communism, Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour, Top Gear Road, Small-group max 7 pax with Pick-up, Transfăgărăşan. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bucharest?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bucharest?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
