Great spot for a gaming party!

Great set up by the guys running it. We had a 12th party there, and all the kids were buzzing about it for days. They all had such a great time. We were able to bring along our own food and drink for the party, and the management were happy to provide face mask liners per player, hand sanitiser, garbage bags. We had exclusive use of the premises too. They also let us open a tab for the session at their in house bubble tea kiosk. We'll definitely be back, and I suspect many of the other boys will be back too!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review! Glad that the kids loved it! We tried our best to provide the best VR experience. Look forward to seeing you next time!

Helpful staff, a great time was had by adults with a range of VR experience

We played an escape room game for an hour, lots of fun! Very helpful staff that ensured that we had a good time as well as ensuring our safety with sanitising wipes and single-use masks. Doing a group game together was super fun, being able to hear each other through the headset was great because we were in separate sections of their space.

Response from the operator: Hi Dom, Thank you for your review. One hour VR Escape Room game is our latest addition that just released. So that you enjoyed it. But we tried our best to achieve 5 stars so please let me know what else we need to improve would be appreciated thank you.

Great time had by all

This was our second visit and this time I joined in the fun. My teen and I had a ball. Ended up staying a second hour - next time we’ll just book for 2 hours up front. My son is saving for an all day visit in the holidays. The guys are really helpful, made me feel very comfortable despite my lack of tech understanding.

Response from the operator: Hi Backyardexplorers, we are so glad that you returned and enjoyed your time here with us. And your son enjoyed it as well! Looking forward to seeing you to explore more games!

Great fun. Worth the money. Highly recommended.

Had a great time. My partner and I tried out 3 different games. You definitely forget where you are because you're so immersed in the games your playing. Staff are very helpful and passionate. Hundreds of games & vr escape rooms to pick from. We would definitely go back.

Response from the operator: Hi Julie, Thank you for your visiting. We are glad that you had a great time here. Looking forward to seeing you again to try other great games!

Virtual Reality Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Virtual Reality Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Virtual Reality Experience take?

+

Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Virtual Reality Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Virtual Reality Experience?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Virtual Reality Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Virtual Reality Experience?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Virtual Reality Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

+

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
