Amazing Day in London

I highly recommend this tour. It was a fantastic experience that not only met but exceeded my expectations. My tour guide was Johnnie and if you are lucky enough to have him as your guide, you will have a simply amazing day. He was professional, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and made it a very fun day for me. He was also quick to make sure I was safe as we navigated the traffic of the crowds, cars and bicycles. It was my first full day in London on my first trip ever to the country and I came away so thankful for the experience. Highlights from the day included Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament, St. James Palace, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. But what made the tour so amazing was that Johnnie tailored the day to my interests and combined the amazing history with rock and roll stops like Abbey Road, Jimmy Page's house and spots where the rolling Stones met and rehearsed, the Chelse drugstore spot from You Can't Always Get what you want, the shop that gave birth to the Sex Pistols and more. He also showed me hidden gems like a hidden fireplace that had survived the blitz, the oldest hat shop in the city and the cigar spot where Churchill among others were patrons. We had a lot of laughs, and it honestly felt like I was spending the day with an old friend who was showing me his hometown. It was an unforgettable experience and the highlight of my time in the city. I have done many private tours in several locations, and this tops the list by far. Don't miss out and book this one whether solo or with family and friends - and ask for Johnnie, you won't regret it.

Ultimate London Is a 20/10 Star experience - Guide Johnnie was Great!!

UNBELIEVEABLE!! You can't image how much of London you will see on this tour - especially if your guide is Johnnie. The sights are great, plus the taxi can maneuver though traffic and has special parking spots. Our plane was late and they were very accommodating for a late start and late ending. Extra highlights home of Jimmy Page, home of Paul McCartney, place where Jimi Hendrix died, Beatles "Let it Be" building, site of the old Texas Embassy, oldest hat shop in the world frequented by Princes Di, I could go on and on, plus the daughter had a list if sites she wanted to see.

Response from the operator: Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a great review. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Johnnie, he’ll be delighted with your feedback! We look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to England. Best wishes! Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1006 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ultimate London Tour - iconic London Taxi Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
