Tulum and Coba 12/2023
A nice balance of historic tours and hidden gems at the denote. Local lunch place was quaint and food was authentic. Alan was a great guide and Alberto was a competent driver.

Awsome tour to Tulum and Coba
Pickup service was perfect, Felipe was a good drive and it was safe to leave bag’s in the van during the visit’s to sights. Tour guide was very helpful and visit to one of the cenote was memorable.

Bad start turned into a good day!
This tour had a horrible start but turned into a good day! We had a 6:50am pick up scheduled and no one came. I called the booking company Viator/Trip Advisor who was absolutely no help. 50 minutes after scheduled pick up time, I finally received a call from the local tour company that there was “traffic” and they were on the way. When we arrived with our group they rearranged our tour stops which made us need to pivot our plans after to go directly to our new hotel. Our guide was helpful and arranged a taxi so it worked out. The Tulum Archeological tour was poor-average. Very fast and I didn’t understand the relevance of the stops and facts we were hearing (I did the same tour 3 weeks before and it was much more fascinating). The Coba lunch was not very appetizing.. slop in a metal buffet bins. Coba was absolutely amazing and our favorite stop. This tour has all the right pieces and a very kind and informative tour guide but need to step it up and improve their organization!

Great trip
This trip is quite long (we went from Playa del Carmen and it took us about 12 hours total), but you also see a lot: two archeological sites with plenty of time to visit, one cenote, and a visit to Playa Paraíso, where we went for a short snorkeling expedition (extra). As promised, we travelled in a small group, with just another family.

Great
It was the most beautiful tour that I have ever been on. We visited the Tulum archaeological site, Coba, the very beautiful Tulum beach, had good food. Our tour guide made the tour extremely interesting! My advice: Bring a lot of pesos in order to rent a bike or buy souvenirs or tip the tour guides.

How much does Tulum, Mayan Museum, Cobá and Cenote Multun ha, Reduced Group. cost?

Is Tulum, Mayan Museum, Cobá and Cenote Multun ha, Reduced Group. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tulum, Mayan Museum, Cobá and Cenote Multun ha, Reduced Group.?
+

Is Tulum, Mayan Museum, Cobá and Cenote Multun ha, Reduced Group. suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book Tulum, Mayan Museum, Cobá and Cenote Multun ha, Reduced Group.?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?
+
On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include VIP Chichen Itza Private Tour, VIP Tulum Private Tour, Chichen Itza Private Tour VIP. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
