Tusheti is situated on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. 6-day trekking tour offers you to explore a hidden, the most remote part of Georgia. You will hike in wild nature, explore medieval times stone villages, and live with local people. You will have a chance to taste local food, and even participate in making Georgian cheese. One more advantage of this tour is that we will hike from villages to villages and overnight at local guesthouses in Tusheti.

Great trip with a great guide....
This 6 day trekking tour in Tusheti was beyond words!! The road into this mountainous corner of Georgia was scary as! "In the top 10 most dangerous roads in the world". Not for the faint-hearted: but, it was absolutely stunning. The trek itself, also has some stretches of vertiginous paths. But if you can summon the courage....don't miss this trek!! The scenery in this cut-off corner of Georgia was mouthwateringly good. We passed few other trekkers. Trek Georgia did a great job organising this trek. The local accommodation, although basic, was good. Lots of nice food, too. The hosts were very friendly. Our guide, Nugo, made the trip all the more fun. A very experienced, tuned in guide. Couldn't fault our trip......

An experience of a life-time!
If you want to experience the real Georgia, then Trek Georgia is the way to explore. The remote villages and mountains in Tusheti were pristine and we loved the hiking, but the highlight was the warmth of the people and the incredibly delicious food (and the cha cha). We had the perfect guide. An expert hiker who was very focused on our safety at all times, and he also gave us insights to the Georgian culture which made us fall in love with the country and its people. It was an experience of a life-time! Highly, highly recommended.

Not going again. Hospiltaity need an improvement
-Guide was good in her job but got yelled at some points while trekking when we have to walk away from sheperd dogs. Also spoke badly when we had many stop during incline hike. -Always have to email to ask information about the trip before going -After trip, we asked for photos and vdo few times but never get a reply on email

We always try to be as responsive as possible, and I believe your tour manager also did as you exchanged tens of emails, and all your questions before the trip were answered within 24 hours. Pre-departure information was also provided more than a week before the tour departure. However, we’re sorry if you still felt the delay in communication. As for the shepherd dogs in the mountains, they may become quite dangerous if they are not managed and avoided in some circumstances. This is why your guide was trying to make sure that you would walk away in a certain way from them. Your guide was shattered that you felt this way as she was trying to ensure the safety during the challenging hike. She puts enormous effort into making the guests happy and we apologize if this was not met in your interaction with her. We are sorry about the late photos of your trip. Each of the members of our team tries to go beyond what is expected and I am sure your guide would be happy to share the photos she took, but as we informed you after the trip, her phone was crushed, and it took time to restore the memory. We're always ready to make things better, so we have just sent you the photos we managed to recover. Please check your email Thank you for taking your time to leave a review.
