About this experience
This 6-days trek- Trekking from Tusheti to Khevsureti is probably the most stunning trail you can imagine. Our journey takes us through Greater Caucasus mountains, characterized by alpine meadows, snow-covered peaks, pine trees and medieval villages. We follow a car road in Tusheti and visit the stone villages of Dartlo, Kvavlo, Parsma and Girevi. Afterwards, we will take a shepherd trail into the Caucasus mountains and hike into the wilderness for 3 days. There is no hut, no humans except hikers. We will cross the Atsunta pass at 3400m, and descend into another region- Khevsureti. Here the pathway becomes easier and in several kilometres follows the car road. We visit spectacular villages of Mutso and Shatili with stone towers and houses. Both defensive medieval complexes were built on the Rocky Mountains and offers picturesque views of the narrow gorges. Here we end our trekking tour and return to Tbilisi by a comfortable transport.

An adventure of a lifetime
I don't think any other trek or adventure will top what I experienced with this Trek Georgia organized trek. Misha was our incredible guide for the the trek. His extensive experience in the mountains, knowledge of the area and technical skills were critical to helping us successfully complete this trek. He is a special person and I hope to go a trek with him again the future. Dmitri helped organize e logistics for this trek. He was always available and promptly answered all our questions. His travel hotel, camping and food arrangements were perfect and we couldn't ask for anything more!

Adventure Awaits!
This was my second trek with Trek Georgia and it did not disappoint. Every day of this trek was rewarding and the scenery was breathtaking. The trek takes you off the beaten path but gives you a glimpse of less traveled areas of the country. My guide Misha was outstanding and added so much to enrich the experience and to teach the group more about Georgia. I highly recommend this company and this trek for those wanting a unique adventure and are not afraid of a challenge.

Wonderful people and stunning nature

Superb trip
We hiked in Tusheti, Svaneti and Kazbegi with Trek Georgia guides Dito and Tato. It was a fantastic experience, wonderful scenery everywhere and I have never seen such an abundance of wildflowers. The organisation was superb, quiet, flexible and very professional, the guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their country, its culture and history. We also had a tour of Tbilisi and its surrounding area , including a wonderful winery with our amazing guide Sofie.

Wonderful Tour!
I highly recommend using Trek Georgia for your time in Georgia. Communication prior to the trip was easy with quick responses. Our guide Tato was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we trekked through and taught us a lot about Georgian culture. Also a special thanks to the office manager Anna who helped track down my lost bag with the airline. This was a memorable trip that we will talk about for years!
