Great value
Good value service on the shuttle. We didn’t go into the cloud forest but we went to the hummingbird cafe and saw lots of hummingbirds, monkeys and coatis.
Response from the operator: Gracias

The pickup was delayed...
The pickup was delayed but not by much, however, there was a confusion regarding drop off. The communication was not clear and we thought we were going to be stranded. Fortuntely, the shuttle that drops people to the parking lot at the Cloud forest reserve is operated by the same company and since it was his last trip, he dropped us off at our hotel.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your honest feedback with us. First and foremost, please accept our sincere apologies for the delay and the stressful confusion regarding your drop-off. We never want our guests to feel stranded, and we are already reviewing our communication process to ensure this doesn't happen again. That being said, we are incredibly proud of our driver on the Cloud Forest Reserve shuttle for stepping up, using his last run to ensure you made it safely and comfortably to your hotel. We will be sure to give him a huge thank you for his excellent service recovery. We appreciate your patience and hope to give you a completely seamless experience next time you visit

Excellent transport, only it was overshadowed by a bad experience
Excellent service, we stayed in St. Helena, and transported us on two occasions ANDRES, friendly, very pleasant conversation, polite. He even gave us recommendations about the place. Up to that point excellent service. Until the last transfer from Curicancha to St. Helena, we were transferred by ALEX, an unpleasant guy from the first contact, was high-handed with my partner when asking for transfer tickets, without even greeting her on the way to the bus. He was upset because it took me a couple of minutes to get on as he was buying ice cream outside the park. He later told me: “be careful not to get my bus dirty” (as I was having ice cream), even mentioned that he should not have let me get into the transport eating. The curicancha road to St. Helena was beautiful, because as it rarely cleared and the Pacific Ocean was visible, we understood it because it bothered to explain a little geography to English-speaking tourists, however it did not explain anything to us. Their service overshadowed the good experience we had at the beginning!
Response from the operator: Gracias, el chofer solo intento de ser pura vida. agradecemos sus segrencias y estamos inplementando nuestra logistica operacional para brindar un mejor servicio para nuestros usuarios

They told me they were going to pick me uo gron the Monteverde Park but just didn’t show up. Had to pay for a local bus.
They told me they were going to pick me uo gron the Monteverde Park but just didn’t show up. Had to pay for a local bus. Also left 6 others.
Response from the operator: We are deeply sorry and incredibly concerned to hear about this. Leaving you and six other passengers behind at the Monteverde Park is completely unacceptable and absolutely does not reflect our standards. We understand how frustrating and stressful this must have been, and we want to apologize sincerely for forcing you to take a local bus. We want to investigate exactly what went wrong with our dispatch and driver communication today to ensure this never happens again. Could you please contact us directly at [Insert Email/Phone Number] with your booking details or name so we can look into this immediately and make things right?

Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puntarenas.
How much does Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve cost?
+
Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puntarenas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve take?
+
Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puntarenas is not rushed.
Is Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puntarenas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puntarenas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puntarenas and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puntarenas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Puntarenas?
+
On Outty we rank every Puntarenas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tortuga Island Tour with Costa Cat, 3 Hour ATV Medium Waterfall Tour (Swimmable Pool), Turtle Island, from Puntarenas, snorkeling and lunch included!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Puntarenas?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Puntarenas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve?
+

Does Transfer to Monteverde Reserve & Curicancha Reserve include hotel pickup?
+

+
