What you'll see and do
Alfama
This is by far the most interesting place in the city. If you can only do one area, I would recommend you do this. Highlights include: • the best views of the city • the Mourish castle of Saint George (11th century), SE Cathedral (oldest cathedral in town 12th century) and the ruins of the Roman Theater (1st century) • Fado - traditional Portuguese music (although you can hear this in other places as well, this is where the most authentic Fado houses are, from 7pm onwards) • Ginginha (Portuguese sour cherry licor) tasting

The Highlight of Our Time in Lisbon
We weren't sure about a Tuk-Tuk tour, but Pifas talked us into it and it was the best decision we made the whole trip. Pifas took us to parts of Lisbon we would have never found on our own and his knowledge of the city and its history was amazing. We were two couples and the Tuk-Tuk was the perfect size for us. He didn't rush the tour and although we were hesitant about the cost, it was one of the best values we had during our trip to Portugal, Spain, and France.

Best Tuk Tuk Ride in Lisbon!
We were so lucky to find Pifas for a tour of Lisbon! The only unfortunate thing was that we found him on our last day! He was a wealth of knowledge about the city and has an amazing energy that had our whole family laughing! Our tuk tuk ride was a highlight of the trip and we highly recommend him to anyone looking to get around the city with a fantastic guide. He’s been doing it for years and it shows! We will definitely be calling him the next time we come to Lisbon and recommending to all of our friends. Thanks, Pifas! 🩷 The Edmondson Family

Look no Further!!
Pifas is amazing! We did a 3 hour tour of Lisbon while on vacation with a large family group. Others in our group also participated in tuktuk tours with other operators, but none were as enthused with their tour and guide as we were. There are so many options out there, do yourself a favor and hire Pifas - you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant Tour Guide
My wife and I booked a full-day tour of Lisbon because we toured Sintra on the first day, and we wanted to maximize our experience on the second day before we left for Spain. We asked Pifas to design the perfect tour, and he delivered. A brilliant tour guide who understands history from a world view, Pifas dazzled us with his knowledge, taking us through the key sites of the city,: cultural, historical, and panoramic. Our day was breathtaking, exciting, and enjoyable. If you seek a tour of Lisbon’s rich history, from the Age of Discoveries to the Moorish influence, Ecotuk Pifas is your first choice. Neighborhoods like Alfama, Bairro Alto, and Baixa are full of stories and landmarks, and Pifas knows them all. You deserve an unforgettable full day tour.

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr cost?
+
Prices start at $275 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 70 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour of Old Town (Alfama) - 2hr start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
