Don’t miss this one
We booked this tour as part of a three week trip around SE Asia. We loved all our tours, but this was far and away our favorite. Gary Chang was our guide and he took us to so many wonderful places, including a couple bonus stops because we had an extra hour before we needed to be back. The weather was a bit rainy and Gary showed up with umbrellas and backup plans to allow us to see tons of sights while still staying dry. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Taiwan and shared many wonderful tidbits as we visited spots around the island. In addition to a wonderful tour, Gary was fantastic about the dietary restrictions in our group. (Celiac and dairy allergy) He shared that he has a family member with celiac and we felt entirely safe as he helped us navigate menus and market stall samples. If you want an amazing day in Taiwan, especially if you have special diet needs, book this tour and ask for Gary as your guide. This tour would have been a bargain at any price.

Worth the Hike Up.
My wife and I were in Keelung for a day on a cruise ship and visited this attraction. It is withing easy walking distance from the cruise port. With great views over the city and docks, it was well worth the hike up (we didn’t know there was an elevator). Recommend.

Fantastic tour guide
Our tour guide was fantastic. Really flexible and knowledgeable spoken of English to teach us some things. We had bad weather, but he still made sure we saw sites. He became prepared with towels and umbrellas. I told him that kind of lunch we wanted and he found a fantastic place for us. It was a great day despite bad weather.
Response from the operator: That is a fantastic review! We're thrilled your tour guide was so great—it sounds like he turned a bad weather day into a great day through sheer effort and preparation. We'll make sure he hears about how much his dedication was appreciated!

Why this scores 52

Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Taipei.
How much does Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave cost?
+
Prices start at $306 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Taipei usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Taipei is not rushed.
Is Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Taipei, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Taipei can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Taipei and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour For Cruise Guests: Keelung Tower, Heping Park, Fairy Cave start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Taipei within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Taipei?
+
On Outty we rank every Taipei experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Private Custom Taipei City Tour, Private Tour to Jiufen, Yehliu Geopark, and Pingxi, Full-Day Private Northern Taiwan Tour from Taipei with Pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Taipei?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Taipei?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
