Traveler reviews
1 verified traveler reviews for The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour. Ratings and reviews provided by Viator and Tripadvisor.
We’ve visited and tasted many times in Napa and Sonoma and this wine tour experience ranks right up there.
Tour experience was booked expertly by Jim. Tour guide Ed, arrived timely. Vehicle was very comfortable for the 6 of us. Ed was a wealth of information regarding everything from wineries to restaurants to outdoor activities during our drive to and between the 3 wineries we visited. Wine tasting at all 3 wineries was very comfortable and it was clear Ed was well known and respected by our hosts. Honestly, we didn’t know what to expect tasting wines in Arizona and Ed and Jim made this a first rate affair. Will definitely do this again when we have other friends visit.
Response from the operator: Russ, thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous review. It truly means a great deal to us—especially hearing that your experience on The Terroir of the Verde Valley Wine Trail ranks alongside your visits to Napa and Sonoma. That is high praise, and we are sincerely grateful. I’m glad the booking process was smooth and that Ed provided a comfortable, informative, and engaging experience throughout the day. Visiting Alcantara Vineyard, Cove Mesa Vineyard, and DA Ranch offers such a wonderful cross-section of Verde Valley wine country, and it’s fantastic to hear that each stop felt welcoming and first rate. The fact that you enjoyed the wines enough to purchase a case at both Alcantara and Cove Mesa is one of the best compliments the region can receive. Ed takes great pride in cultivating strong relationships with our winery partners, and it’s rewarding to know that connection enhanced your tasting experience. Showcasing the quality of Arizona wine while delivering a refined, comfortable, and educational Sedona wine tour is exactly what we strive for. Thank you again for your business and for sharing your experience with others. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time friends come to visit and continuing to explore the depth and diversity of the Verde Valley together. Wine Tours of Sedona - Sedona, Arizona

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.
How much does The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $375 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.
Is The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Terrior Of The Verde Valley Wine Trail Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sedona?
+
Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sedona?
+
March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sedona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
