    5. Rachel’s Knoll until we stepped into what maybe was the most beautiful place we saw in Sedona. In the 1970’s Rachel Patty Lunt was looking to purchase some land in Sedona. While looking at the areas she could buy, she came to this place. It is said that when Rachel stepped on the knoll, she felt the energies going through her body. It was just so beautiful. She knew right away, that this was her special place. She figured that a place like that should be for everyone to enjoy. So she became dedicated to keep this place open to people living in and visiting Sedona. When people talk about Sedona, they often mention the spiritual aspect of it, the vortex. Sedona is said to have several energy centers which are called vortexes. It is thought you can get positive energy from the vortex sites and you can feel it in your body.

    Sedona Jeep Tour

Cowboy Bob led us on a beautiful tour of Sedona. As a native of Sedona, he had great stories to tell and lots of history. Loved it.

    Great experience

David was a good driver and pretty informative. Chapel of the Holy Cross is a must visit. The lunch stop was actually at Tlaquepaque arts & shopping village. Amitabha stupa and peace park was supposed to be one of the stops, but we were not brought there. So that was the only disappointing part of the day. We were not told we were not going there and we're not given a reason for skipping that stop. David did take us on a 30 +/- minute ride to nowhere, where he pulled in to a place where it looked like there were vendors under booths, but didn't get close enough to see it because he just turned around in the parking lot and went back to the starting point. So the last 45 minutes was just basically driving to nowhere. The stops that we did go to were all awesome!

    What is a vortex? ;-)

We were a group of 8 friends and had a great time! Our guide (Brad) was terrific...very informative, interesting, introspective and fun. It was just the right amount of time at and between sites. We appreciated the group photos and the cold water bottles available! Highly recommend.

Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.

How much does Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views cost?

    +

Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views take?

    +

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.

Is Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 323 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views?

    +

Around 113 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ultimate Sedona Jeep Tour: Vortex, Landmarks & Scenic Views start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sedona?

    +

Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Kayak Tour on the Verde River. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

    +

March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sedona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
