About this experience
While many wine tastings are a midday affair, our 6 o'clock experience is designed to embrace the magic of the Ionian 'Golden Hour.' Even as the sun dips behind the landscape, our winery is bathed in a stunning, soft light—making it the most atmospheric time of day to enjoy our terrace and the breathtaking views. What truly sets this apart is the transition from tasting to 'Aperitivo.' We don't just offer a standard flight; we start with a refreshing glass of Sparkling wine and progress through 5 premium labels paired with a generous spread of local treats. The finale is our signature 'WiNegroni'—a creative winery twist on the classic cocktail that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It is a sophisticated, social, and scenic way to toast the end of the day with the best flavors and views Kefalonia has to offer."

Great wine!
A very lovely evening learning about Kefalonia wine and enjoying tasting a great variety. We started with a tasty sparkling and George our guide, explained the fruits we might me tasting and the process used. We went on to try three whites, a rose and a red before finishing with either a Wine-groni or an orange wine. The orange wine was delicious. Some bred and cheese was served to accompany the wines so a really fun night.

Utterly ‘Sarrisable!’ Don’t miss this experience
Superb setting, especially enjoyed the host’s description of the various wines tasted. The wines themselves were delicious and extremely affordable. Pity they don’t export to the UK!

Wine tasting in scenic valley
Set in a beautiful valley overlooking the Ionian sea, surrounded by greenery, the setting is very tranquil. Swifts (birds) swooping in and out makes this a unique experience. Georgios our wine guide was knowledgeable and friendly, accommodating and courteous. The wine tasting is accompanied by local bread, olive oil and cheese. We tried 5 different kefalonia wines, each had a different taste and character. Georgios gave background and hints at the flavours for each one An excellent evening

Delicious wines with a view
Nice winery with a view of the water! The wines are all produced by organic means and low intervention practices. Additionally, the use of local grapes and traditional practices left us tasting very unique and delicious wines. The tasting also included their own olive oil and tastings of local cheeses and bread.

Lovely experiance with amazing views. All the wines we tried were delicious and we came away with 2 bottles that we purchased at reasonable price.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cephalonia.
How much does The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cephalonia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece take?
+
Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cephalonia is not rushed.
Is The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cephalonia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cephalonia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cephalonia and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Six o'clock Wine Tasting in Kefalonia Greece start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cephalonia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cephalonia?
+
On Outty we rank every Cephalonia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include "Dreamy cruise"Daily Cruise from Argostoli harbour with a traditional Greek boat, "QueenBee" Full-Day Boat Trip with Lunch, Kefalonia Island Bus Tour- Wine Tasting, Melissani & Fiscardo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cephalonia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cephalonia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
