Great Chocolate Cocktail Bar

We just walked in here as we were passing and it was near to our hotel. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday afternoon but the staff were really friendly and the drinks were excellent. I imagine as it's a Cocktail bar it must get much busier in the evening but we enjoyed our experience. We only stayed for two cocktails each as despite liking chocolate there is only so much chocolate you can drink in one go. But for chocolate lovers it would be heaven.

Anniversary celebration - Awesome.

Came here as part of our 11 year anniversary celebration. What an awesome venue. Drinks to absolutely die for. Great value. Every single cocktail my wife and I drank were amazing and tasted exactly as they sounded. If you love chocolate and alcohol, then this is the place for you. Already planning our next visit. Rachel, one of the owners was awesome with her recommendations too. Do not think twice about visiting.

Died and gone to chocolate heaven

Well I had been waiting a few years for the opportunity to visit here. Seeing our group had a few hours to spare before our evening meal, we booked one Sunday morning for a 1:30pm session for 4 . It did not disappoint. The location was 5 mins from Farringdon. The atmosphere was great with club tunes playing, the interior was warm and welcoming just like the two ladies who looked after us. We could upgrade our drinks from the £11.50 ones which was fab.We had the Toblerone, The Ferrero, Schmazing Strawberry, Bakewell Tart for round 1 drinks . Then Round 2 we moved onto Clockwork Orange, Bakewell Tart again, Jaffa Cake and Dancing in the dark- all again delicious. Round 3 was Rolo shots and our final round 4 was Kinder Shots. We really didn't want to leave. We watched others enjoy their afternoon teas which will have us returning to this great place. The toilets were great out back and clean. No complaints at all so no idea why the recent TripAdvisor reviews were shirty because our experience was excellent. Thank you to the staff there for making my partners 61st birthday afternoon so special, so fun and delicious. See you soon!

Disappointed

We booked for a friend’s birthday present. We walked in the venue and noticed a horrible smell. Ant powder everywhere The sandwiches were hard where they were left out. I found a long hair inside the scone just as I cut it open. Toilets outside in the cold Ruined the afternoon

Beware of the Hidden Conditions when Booking

Firstly, the cocktail I had was nice. So why the poor review? To book a table, you have to pay £11.50 per person which gets you an £11.50 cocktail. There are only about 5 £11.50 cocktails on their menu and if you don't like one, that's touch. My wife really wanted a £12 cocktail but we were told she couldn't;t have one until she drank one of the £11.50 ones. So nearly 2/3 of the drinks menu is only accessible after you are made to choose from one of their cheaper cocktails. We asked to upgrade and pay the difference and they refused. You can downgrade to a mocktail which is ok but the website doesn't make it clear you can't upgrade. The staff person just said 'There's literally nothing I can do' (which wasn't true) and that 'It's in the T&Cs...which it actually isn't). We asked to leave but they wouldn't refund. In the end, my wife had a cocktail she just didn't want and then we left quickly. I've never been to a small food/drink restaurant where the staff are so unhelpful and rigid in trying to make you enjoy the experience or become a retuning customer. The irony is that we were planning on returning with friends before we visited and now we won't go back. We just didn't enjoy the experience at all

The Chocolate Cocktail Club London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does The Chocolate Cocktail Club London cost?

+

Prices start at $12 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Chocolate Cocktail Club London take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is The Chocolate Cocktail Club London worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Chocolate Cocktail Club London?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Chocolate Cocktail Club London suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book The Chocolate Cocktail Club London?

+

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Chocolate Cocktail Club London start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
