St. Augustine Tasting Tour experience made us feel like celebrities!

The St. Augustine Tasting Tour was a five star experience! From beginning to end, our group felt like we were celebrities! Our tour guide, Handsome Rob was AWESOME! Kirsten accompanied him and was also AMAZING! The heat index on the day of our tour was off the charts! Upon arrival, our tour guides gifted us with fans to help keep us cool as we strolled from establishment to establishment. We were so impressed with the tastings! Our samples were big portions and we even got to choose our beverages at many of the places we visited. We were actually so full by the end of the tour, that we felt like we needed to walk even more! LOL! The quality of all the food was outstanding! Beverages were refreshing, as well! It was very interesting learning about the early beginnings of the establishments and meeting the owners! Our guide, Handsome Rob surprised us with more gifts all along the way! He gave us an official, canvas bag of the Tasting Tours of St. Augustine to carry bottled waters (that he provided), freebies from the establishments (at every place we visited the owners gave us a free gift!), as well as coupons! One of the biggest surprises was that we all got a bracelet that represented a discount off your entire purchase at all the establishments for a future visit. Handsome Rob was personable, funny, he gave us time to really enjoy our experience at each stop, he took time to get to know us, and we could tell that he and Kirsten really enjoyed their jobs! Kirsten was new, but you wouldn’t have known it! She too was very knowledgeable about the history around the town and took great delight in making sure our experience was one worth remembering! We didn’t have to lift a finger for anything! Handsome Rob took our pictures at all the stops, was patient when we wanted to keep posing and even had some really great ideas for photo ops as well! He was quick to send all the pics to us, as soon as, the tour concluded. We’re still talking about our girls day and the best part being the Tasting Tour! It’s a keeper for sure! Looking forward to repeating this tour, as well as, trying out the other types of tasting tours they offer! If you’ve ever wondered if a tasting tour is worth it… YES! Book with Handsome Rob or Kirsten and I’m confident you’ll have a five star experience too!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! Reading it truly made our day. We're absolutely thrilled that your girls' day was such a memorable experience and that you felt so well taken care of from start to finish. Creating an experience where guests feel welcomed, relaxed, and a little spoiled is exactly what we strive for, so hearing that you "felt like celebrities" means the world to us! We'll be sure to share your wonderful comments with "Handsome Rob" and Kirsten. Rob has a gift for making every guest feel like an old friend, and we're delighted that his humor, hospitality, photography skills, and thoughtful surprises helped make your day so special. Kirsten will also be thrilled to know that her enthusiasm and knowledge shined through - she has embraced our mission from day one, and your encouragement will mean so much to her. We're also glad you enjoyed the generous tastings, meeting our amazing restaurant partners, the special gifts along the way, and, of course, leaving happily full! Those little extras are all part of creating an experience that's more than just a food tour. Thank you for your enthusiastic recommendation and for taking the time to share so many wonderful details. We can't wait to welcome you back for another girls' day - whether it's another favorite or one of our other tasting experiences. Until then, thank you for being such fantastic ambassadors for The Tasting Tours!

An Excellent Taste Tour in St. Augustine!

Seven of us went on a food tasting tour in St. Augustine with a very informative and knowledgeable guide named "Judi with an i". The tour was so much fun. We never felt rushed. We had seven stops. Lunch in a swimming pool [of course, no water], very historical, and so cool. Lots of great tasting food, wine, sangria. It truly was a great tour. Thank you to Judi, she made St. Augustine sparkle.

Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Augustine.

How much does Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly) cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Augustine usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly) take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Augustine is not rushed.

Is Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St Augustine, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly)?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Augustine can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Augustine and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Taste of St. Augustine Tour (St. Augustine, Family Friendly) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Augustine within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in St Augustine?

    +

St Augustine is walkable history: Castillo de San Marcos, Spanish quarter walking tours, trolley loops, lighthouse climbs and some of the best-attended ghost tours in the country. Guide storytelling quality is the main variable. On Outty we rank every St Augustine experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Medieval Torture Museum with Ghost Hunting and Tiny Art Gallery, St. Augustine's Wine, Cocktail and Food Experience, Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure of St. Augustine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit St Augustine?

    +

February to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in St Augustine?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
