    lies.

DON'T FALL FOR IT. Especially if you are a horse person. "3 hrs" "giant burrito" on the beach" ... NOT HARDLY. we were on horseback for barely an hour. there is the place you check in, then a short shuttle to the experience start point (they have multiple options there). After the ride they walk you back through the gift shop/food area, to go BACK to the check in point. without feeding us. I asked about it and was told "oh you have to fill out the survey first". Then you have to get shuttled back to the food area? And, not much food at all. Definitely not a giant burrito. I had to ask about it again and they kind of point over to a hot bar, at which all stations were covered. You have to get an employee to open it. One rice, 1 bean, 1 chicken, 2 veg options, and corn. Didn't even take the cover off the salad mix. No drink (no WATER, soda, or anything). Had to buy a bottle of water (another 10 dollars) Neither of the horses were competent and a steady walk. They both fought us (myself and my son) Within 5 minutes the guide had us switch horses, as I was the better rider than my son. Still didn't work. The guide then got down and cut us both switches from a bush to goad the horses. When used properly a crop is effective, but this is NOT the answer! It turns out, if you don't pay extra, the horses are tied together and pulled along by the guide!!!! They are NOT suited for this! Also, they don't tell you ahead of time... NO PHOTOS ALLOWED. And here lies the EXTRA. Friends of hours had been there the day before and told us this. THEY take the photos--and packages start at $100. When you check in you get an upgrade option--more than the price of an individual ticket--to "ride at your own pace, and be allowed to have your phone out". I wanted to get some good video for my instructor back home, but my son is not as experienced. SO I talked to the guide ahead of time and THOUGHT he understood me. When we came to a straight stretch my son was prepared to video for me and the guide was SUPPOSED to watch him so his horse didn't bolt. Well apparently that was impossible for him to handle because, my son's horse took off and the guide didn't seem to care. I asked him 3 times and eventually he just took my son's horse and started trotting him back to the start point. ?!?! also, the paid photographer kept circling us on an ATV taking photo and video and made the horses nervous. I asked him to stop repeatedly but he ignored me. At times the "guide" was more interested in his phone than his guests. I paid $150 EXTRA and my son did not have fun. At one point he was scared. This is not in their best interests!! Also, these horses are treated horribly. NO fodder while standing, no water visibly available. It is unhealthy for horses to work without food in their stomachs. And it was 90 in full sun while we were out. They also use harsh bits that would be unnecessary if they just conditioned the horse better. I was really looking forward to this event with my son, but really it was a very sad and sobering time. This was not a happy event overall. I was upset we paid extra for a very inattentive guide, he did not care about the people, or the horses. Also, it's not really "on the beach" much at all. Mostly it is through hard sand dunes. And there are ATVs and dune buggies that also use the trails. Then you can see the beach.... but not like in the video you see of people cantering along the beach are also false. DON"T BE SUCKERED!!!

    Fun but expensive tourist trap...

This trip is misleading in its advertised description. Much more of a tourist trap than anything. The ride was 90 minutes not 3 hours and tacos/food is not included. The guide, Aaron, was absolutely awesome and is what saved the excursion rating. At the end of the ride there was a small free tequila tasting. However, pictures are an additional $20 per photo or $100 for all photos electronically.

Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tacos and Horseback Riding at Migriño beach start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
