    Fantastic Sydney City Tour

We did the Sydney City Day Tour with a group of friends and had an absolutely fantastic time. Our guide was the real highlight — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the city's history and stories to life in a way that made every stop genuinely interesting. The sights and landmarks were spectacular, but what set this tour apart was the storytelling. Our guide clearly had a deep passion for Sydney and a gift for sharing it. The pace was just right — never rushed, never dragging — and the group size kept things personal and enjoyable throughout. If you're visiting Sydney and want to go beyond just ticking off the famous spots, this tour is a must. We came away with a much richer appreciation of the city. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you and your friends had such a fantastic time on the Sydney City Day Tour. It’s great to know your guide made the experience so memorable with their knowledge, storytelling, and passion for the city. We always aim to create a relaxed, engaging, and personalised experience, so it’s lovely to hear the pace and group size felt just right. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure soon!

    Wonderful private tour in sydney

The tour operator messege us earlier to give us a heads up regarding the tour driver and the vehicle that will pick us up. The driver Rocky arrive on time and very professional he is very respectful and polite and courteous . He is very informative for all the places that we went to . He even ask us where we want to go if we have suggestions on places to go and see. They even provide bottle of water for his passengers. We have beautiful photos and memories reminding us about opera house the harbour bridge because he took us to different spots where you can see the ivonic opera and the bridge in different angle . We went to the rocks we had a walking tour of the area giving us insights about the history of the place . We went to bondi beach and watson bay . We went to the New fish market and there were so much tourist and locals around . We did not able to buy anything at tye fish market it is too crowded and the quee is to long bec it was a holiday when we went there. We also visited the gap , st marys vcarhedral , botanical garden , kiribili , obeservatory hill, mrs macquirees chair. We enjoyed every single time about this tour. After the tour he drop us back to the hotel. Highly recommended for those who wants comfort in going around sydney . Its very hassle free . And the van is very clean as well .

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful and detailed review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Sydney private tour and that Rocky was able to make the experience comfortable, informative, and enjoyable. Providing clear communication before the tour, arriving on time, and maintaining a clean and comfortable vehicle are all important parts of the service we aim to deliver. It is great to know you were able to capture beautiful photos of the iconic Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge from different viewpoints. Exploring historic areas such as The Rocks and visiting highlights including Bondi Beach, Watsons Bay, Sydney Fish Market, The Gap, St Mary's Cathedral, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Kirribilli, Observatory Hill, and Mrs Macquarie's Chair provides a wonderful overview of the city. We are sorry that the queues at the Fish Market were very long due to the holiday crowds, but we are glad that the rest of the tour was enjoyable and memorable. Thank you again for your kind recommendation. We truly appreciate it and hope to welcome you again in the future with Sydney Top Tours.

Highly recommended! You will see more than you dreamed.

Raki put on an amazing day for us. I booked this tour last minute with teenagers and an elderly mother in tow. He custom built our day including carrying a chair for my mom when she couldn’t walk and charging phones as they died. He knew every hidden gem and all angels for the perfect photos. I can not say enough about this wonderful day. His van was immaculate and had still and sparkling water for our ride. I would highly recommend this tour to start your trip or if you only have one day as we did. We feel like we have seen all the highlights of Sydney and much more. We are flying out with happy hearts.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your five star review!

Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights cost?

    +

Prices start at $260 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sydney City Tour | Bondi, Opera House, Bridge & Highlights start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
