Birthday and Marathon Cruise
Was wonderful. Exceeded our expectations. Weather and views were perfect and the team was great on the boat

Wonderful experience
Everyone says you must do a harbour cruise in Sydney and they are right. It's a great way to appreciate the landscape and geography of the area with a new perspective. The only thing I would change on this cruise is to opt for a live commentary. This is only because as visitors to Australia we didn't have data on our phones so we didn't download the commentary. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

Calm, relaxing cruise
We booked for the 5pm Cocktail cruise which included 1 cocktail (from a choice of 4), a house beer, wine or soft drink to follow and a small cheese board. All other drinks were an additional charge. We wanted to order other food to accompany the cheese board but unfortunately it wouldn't allow it through the app (which you have to scan a QR code to access). While you are allocated a section hostess, ours went for a dinner break and couldn't ask him to order extra foods which is not a big deal but we would have liked to. However, it was a lovely simple cruise around the harbour, the staff were nice and easy to talk to. Wonderful photo opportunities as it was evening, we had all the wonderful sunset colours. Thank you.

HORRIBLE SERVICE and WORST EXPERIENCE
I took the sunset cruise and I had really the worst experience ever with their service. I was being help by an Indian girl ( I did not get her name ) and she did not gave our table any foods at all, but other tables were being served. And I had asked couple of times, and the food came very late….Then I called another waiter named RYAN, even he talked back to me saying that it’s not up to the waiter, but up to the kitchen……I did not like his attitude and his words….He should be more train how to handle any customers. Then the cruise director ( her name is IDA — I don’t know if that’s her real name ). She did not even apologized and only gave a compliment of 2 plates of french fries. Thank you very much for the compliments but I was already unhappy with the trip as they treated us unfairly. Hopes they all get a warning ( even fired ) from the company, so in the future, it won’t happen to other customers. I had been email this issue to their company directly, but they only replied two times ( twice ) with unclear answers and afterwards they just ignored me with no reply at all. My complaint was taken by DEEPA ( Reservations Manager Sydney Harbour ). Thank you

The boat was infested with cockroaches.
It could have been wonderful. The staff was friendly and the drinks were good, but the ship was infested with cockroaches. My husband and I killed two, but saw them running all around. Yuck.
Response from the operator: Hi Miryam, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the drinks and found our staff friendly. We do want to flag some context around the description of the vessel as "infested," however. As a business, we operate rigorous pest control protocols and daily cleaning regimes across the fleet, and like all food and hospitality operators, we're subject to regular inspection. An isolated insect sighting is not indicative of an infestation, nor is it typical of our vessels — the photo shared alongside this review shows a single insect, and we don't think it's reasonable for that to be characterised as an infestation. That said, we don't dismiss the experience you had, and we understand seeing any insect onboard is unpleasant. We've noted your feedback and will continue our regular pest control and cleaning checks as a matter of course. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we'd welcome the chance to have you back onboard for a better experience. Kind regards, Captain Cook Cruises

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 183 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board?
+
Around 64 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sydney Cocktail Harbour Bar Cruise with Charcuterie Board start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
