Perfect Day and The Best tour guide

Our tour with Carlos was fantastic! He was patient with our son and elderly. The pick up at our hotel was very puntual and the drive to Mt.titlis very smooth, overall a wonderful experience. Mt.Titlis was beautiful and we were able to rent snow pants and shoes before taking the lift up, again Carlos was extremely patient while everyone got what they needed. Would definitely recommend this tour to all our friends and we will be contacting this company again every year when we visit Zurich. 100/10 experience

Response from the operator: hank you so much for your amazing review! 😊 We are truly delighted to hear that you had a wonderful experience with Carlos and that your whole family felt well taken care of during the tour to Mt. Titlis. Our goal is always to create unforgettable moments, and knowing that we exceeded your expectations fills us with joy! We will pass on your kind words to Carlos, who will surely be thrilled to know the positive impact he had on your trip. It will be an absolute pleasure to welcome you again next year and on all your future visits to Zurich! See you soon, and best regards from our entire team! ✨❄️

An amazing day in Lucerne and Mt Titlis

We had an AMAZING day yesterday going up Mt Titlis! The scenery was soooo beautiful! We then toured Lucerne and even got to listen to an impromptu Swiss horn concert near the Chapel Bridge! The day was even better than we thought it would be due to our fantastic tour guide Carlos!!!! We would go on his tours any time!!!!! He was fun and knew all the hidden gems of each destination (such as the best fondue hot chocolate anywhere)!!!!!

Response from the operator: Hello Cheryl, We are so happy to hear that you had such an incredible day! Mount Titlis truly offers breathtaking views, and Lucerne is such a charming and historic city. It’s wonderful that you got to enjoy an impromptu Swiss horn concert near the Chapel Bridge – such a special moment! We’re even more delighted to hear that Carlos made the experience even more memorable. He’s truly an exceptional guide, with a keen eye for the details and hidden gems that make each destination unique. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we look forward to future adventures with you! We hope to see you again soon on one of our tours! Best regards

    Mt. Titlis/Lucerne Tour

This is our second private tour with “Swiss Magic Tours” company and once again, it did not disappoint! We were fortunate to have David as our tour guide again. He is wonderful at his job! He makes sure you go home with many photos of your tour to reminisce for years to come (I know his fingers were freezing since he was the only one out of gloves taking photos. So sweet!). We have been in Switzerland for 8 days now, leaving tomorrow, and the weather hasn’t been cooperating. It’s been overcast and rainy each day, yet, we have still managed to enjoy our stay in beautiful Switzerland. Much of this we credit to the detail and attention given to us by our wonderful Swiss Magic tours! Be sure to give this company a shot if in Switzerland, regardless of the weather, they will make the beauty of Switzerland shine through!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for trusting our services once again. It was a pleasure, our guide David really is an exceptional guy. Let us wish you a merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the summer. with lots of sun, lots of heat and incredible views

Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.

How much does Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.

Is Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Swiss Alps and Mount Titlis Private Glacier Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zurich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zurich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
