Would totally do again
Totally worth the price of admission. Tour guide had a ton of great tips and stories to share. The length of the visit was great.

Not enough time.
Left the Station about 1:15. It took over 3 hours to get to Stonehenge. It is about 2 miles from the visitor center to the stones. The Staff closes access to stones at 5:30. We had about 15 minutes to view. Visitor center closes at 6:00. Bus left at 6:50. We opted to get fish and chips at end. The kitchen at the pub closes at 9:00. We arrived at the pub shortly before 9:00, just in time to be served. The food was good. Not sure how much time is alloted for earlier tours, but there is not enough time on the afternoon tour to walk around the stones let alone tour the grounds.

Literally this is just a...
Literally this is just a bus ride to and from Stonehenge. There is no tour on the way there or back, no assistance while you are there. Just a bus ride. But Stonehenge was nice
Response from the operator: Dear Amanda, Thank you for your sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour didn't meet your expectations. The Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips is advertised as a self-guided Stonehenge tour. The service includes a driver who will transport you to Stonehenge, provide your admission tickets upon arrival, and bring you back to London. As this is a self-guided experience, there is no guided tour of the site included. Guests are free to explore Stonehenge at their own pace during the allocated time. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience at Stonehenge itself. Kind regards, Premium Tours Team

VERY long ride. Cafe on...
VERY long and a REALLY uncomfortable bus ride from London. Cafe on the site of Stonehenge is not clean and it closes long before the site itself is empty of visitors. Otherwise very well set up and an enjoyable experience.

The drive from Victoria...
The drive from Victoria is long and with traffic it took 3 hours to get there. 2 1/2 hours at Stonehenge wasn’t necessary since we got there so late. The last bus back to the parking lot is at 5:30 and our bus back to Victoria didn’t leave until about 7pm. Just lots of waiting in the heat.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips take?
+
Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 1,036 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips?
+
Around 363 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Stonehenge Shuttle Bus from London with Optional Fish & Chips start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
