Misleading tour description
I am a travel advisor who booked a tour with Cab My Ride for my clients (a family of 4) traveling from the Southampton cruise port to Stonehenge, Windsor and then on to their hotel in London. The tour description was extremely misleading. Even though I provided the luggage details at the time of booking, there was not enough room for their luggage and the driver denied having the info regarding the number of luggage pieces they were traveling with. Further, the car was supposed to be a 6-seater minivan per the tour details, however, the vehicle was a 5-seater extended Prius. Her husband had to sit with a suitcase on his lap for the entirety of their transport. Also, there was no wifi onboard even though the description indicates that's included. It was extremely disappointing, and honestly unacceptable, that the tour details do not accurately depict the experience that my client and her family dealt with. My request for even a partial refund was denied. I will no longer book with this tour operator and strongly advise against using them!

Excellent Way to Get from London to Southampton While Seeing Windsor & Stonehenge
We booked this transfer several months before our trip, and everything went exactly as planned. Communication with the company was excellent from the very beginning. As soon as we booked, they emailed to let us know that Windsor Castle would be closed on the day of our tour. We really appreciated the heads-up, especially since we were traveling all the way from the U.S. Even though the castle was closed, we still wanted to stop in Windsor to walk around, get photos of the castle, and have lunch, so we kept it on our itinerary. Our Airbnb was inside London's Congestion Charge Zone, and they explained there would be an additional £18 Congestion Charge. They emailed us an invoice, we paid it ahead of time, and everything was taken care of before our travel day. The whole process was simple and transparent. We had already reserved lunch at The Two Brewers in Windsor and purchased timed-entry tickets for Stonehenge. I emailed them both reservation times, and they planned our day around them. We arrived in Windsor with plenty of time to explore, enjoyed a relaxing lunch, and still made it to Stonehenge right on schedule. It couldn't have worked out better. Our driver, Shaun, was wonderful. He arrived exactly on time, helped with all of our luggage, and immediately made us feel comfortable. There were five of us traveling with quite a bit of luggage, so the company sent an 8-passenger minibus. It was the perfect size, with plenty of room for everyone and all of our bags. We also happened to be visiting during one of England's hottest weeks, and I have to give the van's air conditioning a shout-out. After walking around Windsor and Stonehenge in the heat, climbing back into a nice cool van was the best feeling. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and made the drive to Southampton really enjoyable. Shaun was friendly, easy to talk to, and never made us feel rushed. He was happy to answer questions, made sure we stayed on schedule, and turned what could have been just a transfer into a really enjoyable part of our vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to book with this company again. Everything was organized exactly as promised, and Shaun made the day even better. If you're looking for a comfortable, stress-free way to get from London to Southampton while visiting Windsor and Stonehenge, I highly recommend them.

Great experience with this driver to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle.
We had a great experience with our driver. He picked us up on time, was very helpful and when he dropped us off at the two sites-Stonehenge and Windsor Castle- he was very clear about when and where he would pick us up. We never felt rushed. Even though it wasn’t a tour, he was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to answer our questions or tell us other interesting bits of information. It was an easy drop off at Heathrow airport too. Would definitely recommend this!
Response from the operator: Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted to hear you had such a great experience visiting Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. It's wonderful to know your driver was punctual, helpful, and made everything easy by providing clear pickup instructions at each stop, allowing you to enjoy the day without feeling rushed. We're also pleased that they were able to share local knowledge and answer your questions along the way. While this is a private transfer with sightseeing stops rather than a guided tour, we always love hearing when our drivers help make the journey even more enjoyable. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing Cab My Ride. We hope to welcome you back for another UK adventure soon! Best regards, The Cab My Ride Team

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Stonehenge and Windsor Tours from London or Southampton start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
