About this experience
Our guides are all very experienced and know all sites around Nusa Penida very well, so that they can show you the best marine life. This day trip you will be snorkelling at three different sites around the stunningly gorgeous Island of Nusa Penida, depending on sea conditions here is some of our usual dive sites; the famous Manta Point, Crystal Bay, SD Manta point where we can have a extremely high chance of seeing Mantas in the water, they are often very shallow where they get cleaned by smaller fish. Crystal Bay with superb corals and clear waters make this a favourite site all year around. SD is great site with often some current on the beautiful reef that runs along northern coast of Nusa Penida. Named after the village school on the coast (Sekolar Dasar or SD means Elementary School in Indonesian), this beautiful site is one of the most popular places at Nusa Penida.

Snorkeling trip Nusa Penida Bali
Well-organised, small-group tour with attentive, experienced staff. Definitely worth booking for an emersive experience across different locations with some amazing sealife. Thanks to tour guide David, Bianda, and crew for a memorable experience.. it was a highlight of my trip!

professional run personal service tours
many companies run snorkelling trips but by choosing a dive shop you get much better service = this includes full length wetsuits and a smaller group with experience guide who know water rescue and first aid etc, Well run tour for only a little more money than the many generic tours

Wonderfull and unforgettable! Lot's of manta and turtles!!
It was really wonderfull and unforgettable! And very well organized!! At first we doubted whether we wanted this adventure; we found out on the beach from other companies about a manta-tour. On the beach the prices are cheaper, BUT they don’t take you to “Manta Point”. They bring you twice closer, where manta comes once in 2 months, that’s why these tours are cheap. And BLUE SEASON BALI has it in 90% of cases. As a result, we took a snorkeling tour at Blue Season Bali. Such delight! We were incredibly lucky - huge mantas (2-3 meters in width) swam around us in groups of 2-4 individuals. Some even freeze in a 1 meter from us! Then we went to 2 other snorkeling spots. One contained various fish, including barracudas, napoleons, sarganas. And in another... we met 9 huge sea turtles of different species!! 9 huge different sea turtles in half an hour - such a luck! We were provided with full equipment - a full-body suit, fins and a mask-tube - so the jellyfish were not of a problem for us. Our costumes were pre-selected according to size. And the tour was organized very well - we were picked up from home and returned home. We were on the same ship the whole time and didn’t have to change it. There was a separate snorkeling guide for the two of us (maximum 6 persons per guide, but there were only two of us that day) and his help was simply invaluable! We were also provided with towels, water, soft and hot drinks, cookies and a full lunch. Our guide was very attentive and carefull to us! I definitely recommend it! incredible emotions! PS - the pictures were made by telephone.
Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for your kind words! We are so happy to hear you had an unforgettable time with us. It’s great that you enjoyed seeing the mantas, fish, and sea turtles up close. We’re glad our team and equipment made your adventure comfortable and fun. We hope to see you again for another amazing trip! Best wishes, Blue Season Bali

Snorkeling with Manta Rays
We booked the snorkeling tour to see the manta rays and 2 other stops as the final highlight of our Indonesia vacation and were not disappointed. We had a very friendly relationship with Maria beforehand and when we got there we were a small group of 3 divers and 4 snorkelers on the boat. The highlight was of course the sighting of 2 manta rays, but the other two stops also had turtles and many other colorful and sometimes quite large fish (damselfish?). We then had a delicious lunch on board and tea and biscuits or fruit in between. We really appreciated the wetsuits we were provided with, as the water is cold with the manta rays. And you should know that the tour is really not suitable for people who are prone to seasickness. My husband didn't really feel well beforehand despite taking tablets. But the experience of snorkeling with manta rays was worth it ;) Many thanks again to Maria and our guide (unfortunately I've forgotten his name) for this really great experience!
Response from the operator: Vielen lieben Dank fuer den ausfuehrlichen Review. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir euch (trotz Seekrankheit) einen genialen Trip arrangieren konnten. Vielleicht kommt ihr ja doch irgendwann nochmal zum Tauchen. :)

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.
How much does Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali cost?
+
Prices start at $2350000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.
Is Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Snorkeling Trip Nusa Penida Bali start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuta?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Bali 5 Days and 4 Nights Private Tour - Best and Famous Site. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
