So Amazing!!!
Always amazing snorkling with the Mantas and then experiencing the beautiful reef of Nusa Penida! Can’t wait to do it again this year!

We had a really wonderful experience. Unfortunately, my mum felt unwell due to the strong waves, but Coach Neo handled the situation with great care and professionalism. He was calm, attentive, and extremely supportive. His reassurance made a big difference, and we felt very safe throughout. Thank you for the excellent service.

Great snorkeling in Nusa Penida
Went on the three drive snorkeling trip. Much to my surprise, I was assigned an individual guide and was outfitted with a wetsuit as well as flippers, mask etc. we went on a shared boat with snorkelers and scuba divers. When we got to the locations, my guide (Gedeh) was with me the whole time, and had a lifesaver ring to provide as a contact point. We saw about 15-20 Manta Rays, which was amazing. The Crystal Bay dive was nice, but the great way to finish the day was in the drift dive, where the current allowed for a lazy, effort-free drift across the reef.

Definite must
A wonderful experience! From booking to pick up, to Neptune office and then onto boat was a breeze in booking and contact to ensure we were prepared and safe. The three snorkeling site were well chosen and we saw Manta Rays (maybe 12!!) then 2 drift snorkels with our lovely guide. The water was clear and warmish. They supplied towels and wetsuits plus a delicious lunch. Very helpful and supportive crew on the boat and responsible skipper. Overall a delightful day with and great crew who made our day spectacular. Thank you Julian and crew. Jane & Nicki

Thanks, great day out
Guides were very attentive and knowledgeable and high ratio of instructors to snorkelers. The drift snorkel was even better than the Manta rays. Everything provided for. Only improvement would be less waiting time to depart to the boat from the beach and why not return guests straight back to their hotels rather than make them wait in the dive centre on return.
Response from the operator: Dear A K, Thank you very much for your review and feedback. It is much appreciated and valued. Regarding the waiting time and departure of the boat, unfortunately that is not something we have control over. We are obligated by local regulations to use the local porters for equipment handling and loading on the boat while we are also waiting for daily boat clearance from the harbor authorities. This may result sometimes in some waiting time especially in high season such as August when all of the boats are going out on the trips. Direct drop-off at the hotel after the trip is always possible upon request if the hotel is within the area of Sanur. However, by standard we return to the dive center as most guests may need to settle payments, debrief or even take a shower before returning to their hotels. Thank you again for the feedback and sincere apologies this has been an inconvenience. Regards, Julian Owner, Neptune Scuba Diving

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.
How much does Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.
Is Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 71 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Manta Point start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuta?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Bali 5 Days and 4 Nights Private Tour - Best and Famous Site. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
