Snorkeling Discovery sailing in Los Cabos

Disappointing

Bought this excursion for my boyfriend and I to do when we stopped in Cabo San Lucas from our cruise. During our cruise we didn’t have any service and a limited WiFi plan so we did not know this excursion canceled on us to do boat inspections. We walked around looking for the meet up location for a long time and were total lost! The meet us location was so confusing to find. After looking for almost an hour and messaging for clarity where we aware that the excursion was canceled. They gave us two options to participate during sunset or book for the next day but since we came from a cruise both options were not possible. It’s been 3 days since and I still haven’t recieve a refund or any further update. There are a lot of local people offering the same excursion for cheaper we ended up booking a last minute excursion with a local man for $25 a dollars a person that included a tour around the coastline to see all the land marks and to get dropped off to snorkel at pelican beach. Before dropping us off we secured a pick up time and made sure we kept track of time looked out for the boat since there are multiple boats coming and going from that area picking up and dropping off various groups of people. I was disappointed in that the excursion was canceled last minute but later glad as we got the same experience for a better deal. I would highly suggest to just book an excursion with the local people there that all spoke English or English well enough to make the trip easy.

There was a small...

There was a small confusion about the meeting time/place (both were close though) but once that was cleared up an overall great experience. Nice boat, nice staff, snorkeling was good, food was good, open bar was nice quick. Just double check you’ve got the right details with the company!

Experience was good and staff was nice, but not everyone got the full experience.

We booked a small boat (that only fits 15 people) because of needs by some family members. We were rebooked to a larger boat (that holds 100 people) without notice. The trip was fun for some but not all members could enjoy it in such a large setting. Would have changed companies had I known.

Such a blast!

This tour was so much fun and the crew were very personable. They danced and had a great time with the guest aboard. Would recommend every time!

Good time, good price, good food!

We had a great time on this excursion. The Sun Rider boat is beautiful, the staff attentive, and the food excellent! We went in April 2022. There were about 100 of us in total I would guess from various hotels in the region. We did a pass by Los Arcos and also saw the rocks where the seals were hanging out. Then it was off to snorkeling (cold and not many fish at the time, oh well), then lunch (delicious fajitas and sides), then back to the dock. The picture here is not what the snorkeling is like. The water where the snorkeling is done is at least 10 feet deep and in kind of a cove area. Overall, a good time and a good choice.
