A bad experience.
The tour was of the Eagle's Nest. It was closed when we arrived. We were refused any refund. I would not recommend Panorama Tours in Salzburg.

Unfortunately, Eagle’s Nest can be closed at very short notice due to weather conditions or safety concerns. Such decisions are made by the responsible local authorities and are entirely beyond our control. In this particular case, the closure was announced unexpectedly, and we ourselves were only informed after the tour had already started. We therefore had no opportunity to notify our guests in advance or make alternative arrangements before departure. We would also like to kindly point out that all our tour descriptions clearly state that access to Eagle’s Nest is subject to weather and safety conditions and that unexpected closures may occur at any time. While we always do our very best to provide the full experience, the safety of all visitors must naturally come first. As the tour had already commenced and transportation, guiding services, and the other arrangements were provided, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund in these circumstances. We sincerely regret that this was not the outcome you had hoped for and understand that this must have been frustrating. Please be assured that we would have much preferred to take you to Eagle’s Nest as originally planned. We genuinely appreciate every guest who chooses to travel with us, and it is never our intention to leave anyone disappointed. Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope you might consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a more enjoyable experience in the future.

eagles nest in the rain
Great historical background talk from the guide, he really knew his subject. It was unfortunate that it was a wet day so we missed the views from the top at the Eagles Nest and walks outside. The visit to Berchtesgaden was just a stop to eat so I did not get a real feel for it as a place to explore. I suspect that a private tour although more expensive would have given more opportunities to explore things of interest. The Eagles Nest is worth a visit but it was not my outstanding memory from Saltzburg. The pickup point to exchange vouchers for the tickets was a bit confusing, possibly due to the drizzle which led to everyone huddling under the small amount of shelter there.

Good Tour........Interesting location
It's an interesting location. The history provided on the tour was decent, however I wish there was more of a focus on WWII and more time to have a formal presentation once arriving on top of the mountain.

Fantastic Tour of Eagle's Nest and Berchtesgaden!
Terrific tour on a comfortable bus to see Eagle's Nest and Berchtesgaden. Guide provided historical commentary on drive. For Eagle's Nest we switched buses to get up the mountain. Had time for exploring and seeing the sites. Amazing views. Had time to explore Berchtesgaden town after. Comfortable ride back to Salzburg. It was worth it!! Excellent experience. Don't miss it!

Interesting location
Very interesting to see hitlers old tea house where he entertained so many people. Too bad the weather was not good so we didn’t get a nice view.
