Enjoy your vacation
It was a fantastic experience. Andre picked us up from the hotel in a comfortable Mercedes van. We were able to visit Pena Palace conveniently, avoiding lines due to the fast pass and timing. We were able to visit Belem tower and drive along the coast. His wealth of experience allowed us to enjoy our vacation. You know that feeling, at the end of a vacation day, that you are exhausted and your feet hurt...we didn't have that feeling.

Amazing tour day! We loved it!
Absolutely perfect! We had the most incredible day with Andre and Luis. I booked this tour for my family (a group of 10) and we had the most amazing tour of Sintra and the surrounding area. They are such fabulous guides. We learned so much and were so comfortable in Mercedes vehicles. They went above and beyond to plan the perfect day for us. Really a highlight of our trip to Portugal and highly recommend booking your tour with them!
Response from the operator: We are so happy to read these amazing words. Thank you very much.

Awesome, fun, educational, customized and comfortable. Andre was highlight of the trip.
Andre worked with us to customize what we wanted to see and how we wanted to see. Andre was fantastic in telling us history, stories while also giving great tips for other places to visit, he pinged us in advance to get advanced tickets when he was there so we reduced time in line. He was fantastic with our teens and family finding our food needs, being humorous, helping with pictures. It was so pleasant and so comfortable and so much fun - highly recommend for any needs. He was referred to us by a friend who had used him before and we loved it just as much. He even helped us with referrals and local ideas in other spots.

Great day with a great guide!
Andre is a punctual, knowledgeable and personable guide with whom we spent a great day touring Quinta da Regaleira and Cabo da Roca. He was a delight to spend the day with.

Highly recommended!
Great guide and tour! André takes you to the best places with the least tourists and has plenty of historical insights to share with you. He was perfectly on time to pick us up in the morning. We visited Sintra (and a wonderful castle and garden), ate great tapas in a hidden local restaurant and ended our tour in Cascais. Highly recommended !
Response from the operator: Merci Margaux! It was a true pleasure to show you and your family the enchanted Villa of Sintra. Regards, André Antunes

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Cabo da Roca Private tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
