Great insight to Cambodian life and culture
Great experience, our guide took us to many interesting locations. The tour showed us country life in Cambodia, adding another facet to our visit to Siem Reap. Our guide, was great. He drove well and was easy to talk to. Our guide shared his childhood memories and experiences with us, giving us a deeper insight to Cambodian life and culture. Highly recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Many thanks for the high recommendation! We are thrilled that the tour added a new facet to your visit to Siem Reap. Providing deep insights into our culture and a safe, comfortable drive is always our priority. We hope to see you again someday!

A fun ride to the floating village
We enjoyed our time on this 1/2 day adventure. Our driver, “Jon” was very knowledgeable, a safe driver and had good English skills. The country side “ tour” itself ended up being more of a taxi ride to and from the floating village but was enjoyable just the same. The vintage jeep was a fun ride but uncomfortable in the back for the third person.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad you felt safe and enjoyed the vintage Jeep experience. I appreciate your note regarding the seating comfort for a third person—since these are authentic vintage vehicles, the back seat can indeed be a bit snug! I also take your comments about the route to heart and will look for ways to make the countryside stops even more engaging. Safe travels!

fun relaxed and a great way to see the countryside
We had a great time John the tour guide while doing this tour. It had been raining the night before so the conditions were quite muddy but this made the experience much better. He showed us a lot of places and we learnt a lot about the Cambodian culture. I would recommend this tour over and over again.
Response from the operator: Dear Wendy, I’m really pleased to hear your feedback and recommendations for other travelers. We wish you all the best and great time for your next destinations. Best regards, Cham

Unforgettable experience in the field
A very interesting tour and in Spanish! Learning the real life way of Cambodians and enjoying John’s good driving skills. The Jeep is great and the points you visit the same. It is done to your liking depending on the time you have and what you want to spend in each place. Super recommended! Thank you very much John!!!
Response from the operator: Hola Francis, Muchísimas gracias por tu opinión genial. Estoy contento de saber mi experiencia les hizo feliz y satisfechos. Un saludo, John

Amazing guide and lovely tours
John was a great guide with who we spent 3 days doing 3 different activities: Day 1 evening was the food tour Day 2 early morning was sunrise at Ankor Wat and then cycling around the temples (5 on top of the main one) Day 3: Sunset jeep ride. All of the above were well organised and John always ensured we were comfortable and happy. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to see beyond the usual and a guide who goes above and beyond.
Response from the operator: Hello Sangita, It was my privilege to host your whole family and kids. I'm so pleased to hear you had a great time during your stay in Cambodia. Thank you for your feedback and recommendation. It will be helpful for other travelers who love to have the experience like you. Thank you so much. Best regards, John

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Siem Reap: Silk Farm & Countryside Offbeat Jeep Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
