See the real Cambodia!

A truly fabulous afternoon/ evening. Sayeuo our guide was excellent. We got picked up at our hotel, then went to the local temple, before heading to Sam’s place to collect our bikes. The tour took us through the countryside and small villages, with many interesting stops. We learnt so much about local life and got to do some local tastings. Arriving back at Sam’s place we were greeted with cold towels and then had a cold beer and some delicious snacks, made by Sam’s wife. We were then collected by tuk tuk and dropped back at our hotel. Get out of Siam Reap town, see the real Cambodia and support this amazing local business.

Fantastic afternoon cycling

I wish I could give more than a 5 star rating. The tour delivered everything promised and more. From pick up to finish everything was well organized and the tour through the countryside, including plenty of involvement with the local people and food was excellent. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour and a really unique opportunity to experience local culture and food. Our tour guide Sayoeun as well as Sam were so welcoming and enthusiastic to have us and show us around. The bike route takes you along some really beautiful rice field scenery. The sunset timing is perfect not only for views but also heat! It’s much cooler. Highly recommend going on this tour and supporting some great people.

Amazing tour

Sayouen picked us up from our hotel as planned in a tuk tuk and took us to a temple on the way to pick up the bikes. Sayouen was very knowledgeable about the lifestyle of the monks and the religion, we later found out he is a former monk which enhanced the experienced. We then went on to meet Sam and collect our bikes. Sam was very conscientious to make sure the bikes and helmets were adjusted to fit us properly. The bikes are traditional style, sit up, push bikes, they are not e-bikes, but this was really nice as it added to the authenticity of the trip and don’t be concerned, the area is very flat with no hills and Sayouen goes at a pace to suit you. Sayouen stopped at various places showing and telling us how Cambodian people live and letting us experience some really nice street food. Sayouen always had time to answer our questions, nothing felt rushed, in fact the opposite, when we returned to drop off the bikes, we was greeted by Sam again together with some of his and Sayouen’s family and we sat with them for about an hour eating, drinking and talking together. Overall this trip was perfect for us, we wanted to learn how Cambodian people live daily and this is exactly what we got from a very warm and welcoming family.

Response from the operator: We greatly appreciate your valuable feedback regarding your tours with us and guide Sayouen. We're thrilled that you enjoyed and met your expectations. Your satisfaction means a lot to us. And we hope you will take this tour again with next trip. Best Regard. Mr. Sam ( Tour Operator ) WhatsApp: (+855) 12221672 Email: sunsetbiketours@gmail.com

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 127 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
