- We have earmarked this tour as especially safe during the Coronavirus outbreak due to generally quiet places that we visit where social distancing is generally not a problem. All of our tours are private so it is just you/your family and your guide. To make it easier and safer for all concerned we would suggest starting this tour a little later than the usual time, perhaps around 10.30-11am which allows us all to miss rush-hour. We are happy to still come to your hotel to meet you but for the moment we would suggest meeting us at the tour starting point. This allows you to arrive by a taxi or uber rather than public transport. Please feel free to wear masks throughout or at times during the tour. Your guide will also have a mask with them. Please note this tour normally has 3 short tube journeys in it, these can be changed for taxis.

The One of a kind Sherlock Holmes tour of a lifetime!!
Wow!! Where we can even BEGIN to describe the experience of a very special Sherlock Holmes Walking tour (In Stephen's own words)!! We have been fans of Sherlock Holmes fiction for more than half a century now; and it was a lifetime's dream that came true with Stephen and his Company Ye Olde England Tours. Stephen arranged a one of a kind Holmes tour focused on the classic Granada TV series and the books!! And for 3+ hours we were transported to the world of Sherlock Holmes as of it were early to mid 1900's. We could write an entire journal on those 3 hours..... Stephen deserves a medal!! He is an absolute FOUNTAIN of historical knowledge and inspite of that - extremely humble, kind and generous!! No detail was too small; no building/location went unspoken about.... We were also taken around locations associated with other great classical writers like HG Wells, Rudyard Kipling and George Orwell! 5 stars is not enough!!. Whichever tour is organized or led by Stephen is guaranteed to be of the highest quality and value for money. Imagine - we even had the GREATEST luck to have a photograph with a real detective at the original Scotland Yard!! By the end of the tour we wouldn't have been surprised to have been introduced to Lestrade!! Highest possible recommendation for Stephen and his company.

Unforgettable Sherlock Holmes
Kevin Pearman was our fabulous guide for the Sherlock Holmes Private walking tour, which as an additional bonus, has a vast knowledge of history that made the tour exceptional. This tour has to be experienced in person as words cannot describe the many sites we saw and all of the inside tidbits with fun anecdotes accompanying. Kevin exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to book another tour with this company. Booking was very simple and the company was very quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend and Kevin Pearman was absolutely fantastic.

Sherlock Holmes your is a lot more!
Stephen was great. I was surprised that he took us to so many places that had nothing really to do with Sherlock. And he had lots of great info about everywhere we went. My favorite was when we saw where they filmed the scene in Sherlock where cumberbatch fell off the roof.

Great Tour and Amazing Guide!
Our first activity on our very first visit to London - we traveled as a family and everyone loved this tour. So much info on the Sherlock Holmes saga - both past and more recent. Our guide, Kevin, was absolutely the best. He was kind, helpful, supremely knowledgeable! He pointed out so much that was nearby our walking path and helped us become familiar with the tube. Based upon information he shared, we went back to several places over the span of our visit. Kevin obviously loves what he does and it was clear that his top priority was to make our experience a great one!
