Perfect, EPIC family day in Sequoia!
We had the most wonderful day touring Sequoia with Isabell and our two kids! Isabell was super knowledgeable, relaxed, and tailored the tour to our group’s interests, hiking abilities and pace. She made us feel safe on the treacherous roadways up through Sequoia, atop Moro Rock and during a bear encounter on the General Sherman Trail (which was awesome!), and she put on the most beautiful picnic spread for us at Crescent Meadow. We are still marveling at our Sequoia adventures and will cherish these memories forever. Thank you, Isabell and Good Trip Adventures! Words can’t convey what that day meant to us!!
Response from the operator: We're so happy to hear of your amazing, customized day with Isabell!! We love to make everyone's vacation and time in the parks special! Thanks for joining us and we hope we can have you around for another GoodTrip soon!!

Highlight of our trip to Sequoia.
Highly recommend Marcela. She was so knowledgeable and has such a great personality. My knee was bothering me and she would drop us off at the handicap area, park and then join us and then went back to pick up the car and again pick us up. Such service. It was so nice to have someone with knowledge of the park do all the driving and explain things to us. The park is so large and we were surprised with how many of the highlights she showed us. She stopped at a great picnic area (Hospital Rock) and put out a huge delicious meal. She also had plenty of snacks and beverages. Thank you, Marcela for a wonderful day.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled Marcela could make your day special and ensure you had a comfortable, memorable experience exploring the park. We'd love to welcome you back any time!

Family of five makes new friends who show them around Sequoia and Kings Canyon.
What a wonderful day! It was our first time visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon and it was so nice to spend the day with Isabell (and Sydney) with Good Trip Adventures. They were fantastic, fun, friendly, reassuring, and supportive of us moving at our pace. So knowledgeable and personable, and they so clearly love these parks. They were super flexible and easy to coordinate with - accommodating in every way. It was like having a friend show you around their hometown. We had just been to Joshua Tree NP and Death Valley NP and were heading to Yosemite NP after Sequoia and it was great to chat with them about those parks and others we had each been to as well. They were so eager to share their advice and knowledge, particularly for our Yosemite trip. Highlights: Everyone we interacted with for the company was so helpful in coordinating the best meeting place and itinerary for us. It was clear that thought and effort went into planning our specific day and they remained flexible throughout when we spent longer than anticipated at some of the early stops. Isabell’s driving - Not only that she was doing the driving so we didn’t have to, but that she did it so well. Smooth, careful, safe, and efficient. The snacks and lunch they assembled for us. Tailored to our tastes and needs and served at a lovely picnic area they selected for us. They really went the extra mile and exceeded our expectations.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! It’s great to hear that our team’s efforts, from tailored snacks to a personalized itinerary, exceeded your expectations. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to helping you explore more National Parks in the future!

private tour of sequoia and kings canyon
We were a group of 6 with ages ranging from 25-58. Our tour guide for the day was Rachael who was fantastic. We had a few on the trip who were fearful of heights and Rachel went out of her way to get them both up to the top of Moro rock. She was patient, kind, and helped them overcome their fear. The view was beautiful and worth the steep height. Rachel made sure we visited all the spots we had requested. She was extremely knowledgeable about the park and all the history within the park. Our favorite experience was the 3 mile hike surroundingthe general Sherman tree. She took us off the beaten path and were able to capture some pretty amazing g photos. If you’re looking to do a tour of this area request her and you won’t be disappointed. We have done many tours and she is by far one of the best guides we have had. Thank you for the memories.
Response from the operator: Wow! What an amazing review, thank you! Rachel truly knows how to make a trip to Sequoia a memorable one and we're so glad to hear that your whole group made it to the top of Moro Rock--what an amazing view! Thank you so much for sharing the forest with us 🏔️

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park.
How much does Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike cost?
+
Prices start at $973 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is not rushed.
Is Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sequoia Full Day Private Tour & Hike?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park?
+
Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park draws visitors for its landscapes, wildlife and guided outdoor experiences. Outty tracks every bookable tour here, scores it with the Outty Ranking, and shows what is worth your time, from full-day guided trips to short scenic outings. On Outty we rank every Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sequoia National Park Small-Group Tour from Three Rivers, Sequoia & Kings Canyon NP Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour, Giant Sequoia Private Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park?
+
Late spring through early fall for full access and the widest tour availability, with quieter trails in the shoulder weeks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
