    Unforgettable Sequoia Experience with Alycia

Alycia was our guide at Sequoia National Park, and she made our hike truly memorable and exceeded all of our expectations. She is an incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly guide who will enhance your experience of the park in so many ways. Her knowledge is extensive, and she did a wonderful job answering our kids’ many questions while encouraging and building on their natural curiosity. What makes Alycia especially unique is how grounded and present she is. She brings a somatic, experience-based approach to exploring the park that feels wholesome, meaningful, and heartfelt. We didn’t just learn about Sequoia…we experienced it in a deeper and more memorable way because of her. We would recommend a tour with Alycia 100%! Thank you, Alycia, from the bottom of our hearts for such a beautiful and unforgettable experience.

    Giant Forest Mindfulness

Alysia is the ultimate guide for learning all about these spectacular trees of the Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park. Her energy, enthusiasm, and passion for nature makes the day both exhilarating and inspiring. Alysia shares her extensive knowledge of the park and its ecosystem throughout the hike. I thoroughly enjoyed her tour which combines her knowledge of ecology with mindfulness and meditation, and a sense of interconnection to Mother Earth.

Response from the operator: Thank you. Your kind words mean a lot.

    Find Your Way

Alysia is a feminine name of Greek and Germanic origin, primarily meaning "noble" or "of noble kind. It is derived from the Greek word “alyssos”, referring to the sweet-smelling alyssum flower, which was historically believed to have healing properties. Alysia lives up to her name. After losing my father in February, I knew I needed to break the chains of grief, somehow. Alysia knew just what to do. A 5-hour journey through the ancient woods. Prayer, meditation, laughter and tears. Hugs and hiking. Need to find your way through life? Find your way through the forest with Alysia.

Response from the operator: Beautiful, Hope. Thank you. You are an inspiring being. The world is blessed you are in it.

In fact, I was totally blown away by it

Response from the operator: Thank you Joel. Your words mean a lot.

How much does Transformative Sequoia Day Hike cost?

    +

Prices start at $189 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Transformative Sequoia Day Hike take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is not rushed.

Is Transformative Sequoia Day Hike worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Transformative Sequoia Day Hike?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Transformative Sequoia Day Hike suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Transformative Sequoia Day Hike?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
