Wonderful, guided journey through the Sahara with a lot of heart
As a group of women, we were led safely and attentively by Lahsen and his Berber team with the dear dromedaries from M'Hamid to the great dunes of Erg Chegaga. The landscape was beautiful, very varied and touching, this vastness, silence and freedom I felt while running or on the dromedary was so profound and enriching. I loved riding the dromedary as it is such a beautiful, uplifting feeling and I could perceive the Sahara from a different perspective. Lahsen and his team provided us with excellent vegetarian Berber delicacies at meals. Everyone in his team was very attentive, warm and cared for our physical well-being. We always had enough tea and water, which was important for me and I enjoyed the delicious food very much. The bread baked on the coals - a dream! A real highlight for me was sleeping under the stars, I enjoyed it from the heart, enjoyed shooting stars and felt very connected between the universe and Sahara. I thought Lahsen's humor was great, it brought additional lightness and laughter to our journey. If we had questions about Berber culture, the dromedaries, the Sahara, Lahsen could answer everything, so we learned some interesting things. I wholeheartedly recommend Lahsen and his team: Our trekking through the Sahara felt very genuine, authentic and warm. I would definitely come back! Inshallah!
Response from the operator: Vielen lieben Dank für deine Bewertung und dein Vertrauen.

Unforgettable experience!
Desert trekking with yoga has given me a very authentic and welcoming impression of Berber nomadic life, provided extraordinary nature and group experiences, challenged my body through high temperature differences, desert sun and walking in the sand and, perhaps also through the turn of the year in the desert, was ultimately a spiritual experience. The yoga routines with Marion have brought body, mind and soul into harmony in the evening and in the morning whether of the many impressions again and again in the most beautiful and gentle way and thus created openness for others. Overall, the offer of Lahsen and Marion was very well organized, both were open to all questions in advance (Important: Ask questions!). And both live this job with a lot of passion and personality! Thanks for that, you are a real asset! Our young guides Erdogan, Hussein and Salem (unfortunately I don't know if the spelling fits quite...sorry!!!!) were approachable and despite one or the other language barrier very open and communicative and they let us participate in the nomadic life in a refreshing and humorous way. Erdogan provided us with down-to-earth and extremely delicious Moroccan cuisine every day with sensible and visible dedication, which was just great! Thank you again 1000 times! And without our silent, frugal and meditative companions, the dromedaries, this experience would not have been possible anyway! The greatest thanks go to them! An overall package that combines culture and cultural approach, culinary, natural, physical and self-experience, group experience and also some spirituality - if you want - in the most beautiful way. Simply recommended! Many thanks to ALL who were there and involved for this experience.
Response from the operator: Ich danke Dir von Herzen liebe Katja für deine tollen, ehrlichen und liebevollen Worte. Es ist so schön dass du dabei warst

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga cost?
+
Prices start at €1,000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga take?
+
Plan for about 216 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 216-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 216-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sahara Spirit – Yoga & Trekking in Erg Chegaga start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
